~~Stiles~~

Today I'm turning 17 and I'm already nervous. I can already feel the energy making it harder than usual to stay still and as the clock gets closer to the time of 3:15 to say schools out the jumpier and more excited I am. It's lunch right now and I decide to go outside because I've had to be inside all day.

I guess Scott and the others felt the same. I run over slamming my ass down on the chair looking at my friends with a smile saying, "Hey guys, guess we had the same idea."

Scott smiles back saying "Yeah and you seem very energetic today. Why is that?" I shrug my shoulder answering, "Just excited."

Scott tilts his head like a confused puppy before he face palms remembering and he says, "That's right, it's your birthday today." Everyone looks at me and sit up straighter with my head high stating "Yep, turning 17."

They all wish me happy birthday and Scott asks, "So you are doing going to do anything special?" I nod and tell him "My dad and I are going to go to one of mom's special places."

They all look at one another and I smile saying "Don't worry. It's just a place where my mom used to go and yes, it is still in beacon hills.

It's just a little way's away in the middle of nowhere. My mom used to live in the house or go there every so often and she even brought me there when I was just a baby, but I don't remember it. So, it's a way to have mom with us while we celebrate my birthday. You know?"

They all just nod, and Scott says smiling "Yeah man we get it, just sad we can't be there." I'm still smiling as I tell them "That's not true, my dad said as long as we leave before 7-8 that I can have as many friends as I want."

They all look up smiling and the bell rings that lunch is over. We all get up and I say as we all go into the school "See you guys at my house after school." We all go our separate ways to go to our respective classes while Scott stays beside me as we walk to our next class.
