I hear my alarm go off and I slowly reach my hand out to turn it off

Then I get out of bed and head straight to the bathroom

After doing skincare and brushing my teeth I change into something cute

Just because Chris is my ex doesn't mean I want him to see me look like shit

I head to the kitchen and pour cat food into the bowl on the floor

Mochi comes running over and begins eating

I sit on my couch and wait for Chris to get here. As I'm scrolling through tiktok a edit of me and Chris comes up

From my first ever car video with them, I looked so happy

I really miss hanging out with them, we used to hangout everyday and go do stuff and now I just sit at home

My doorbell rings and I wait a bit before getting it so it doesn't seem like I was waiting

"Hey..." he said to me, oh how I missed his voice "I- come... in" was all I could let out

We walk into my room and on 'his side table' was the hoodie

I pick it up and hand it to him, we touch hands for only a second but I got butterflies

This feels so weird, like the first time I met him. I can fall in love with this man all over again I think to myself

"So...." He says and takes me out of my daydream
"Oh... uh... want cereal.... I have your favorite" I say and then I see him smile a bit "yea sure, I have nowhere else to be" he says and heads to the kitchen

I get him a bowl of cereal and sit down next to him with a water bottle for me

"You gonna eat?" He asks me, breaking the silence "oh I'm not hungry right now" I reply looking down at the counter

It's silent again, when this used to happen it was never awkward but now it is

Chris finishes his cereal and brings it to the sink he starts to wash the bowl "you don't have to wash it, I can" I say while he continues to wash it "I know you hated it when I didn't wash the bowl" he reply's back

It's so weird he never cleaned his bowls, I feel like he has changed so much

After he washes, drys, and puts the stuff back he sits back down

"Oh.. I feel like I should tell you, you were right" Chris says which confuses me "right about what" I ask "Hannah..." I look at him, I don't know what to say so I just hug him

It takes a second but he hugs back "I'm really sorry I didn't believe you" he says "it's ok, but how did you realize" I say while letting go of him

"She called me over last night and said she needed me.... When I came over she kinda threw herself at me..." he says

I whisper under my breath "man stealing bitch" but I guess Chris heard me because he started laughing and fell off the chair onto the floor

"Oh my god Chris are you ok?" I say sitting on the floor next to him "ow" he says which makes me laugh a bit

"I miss that laugh" Chris says and we just stare into each others eyes

I was gonna say it "I miss you Chris, I don't want anyone but you"

Before I could his phone rings

"Hello?" He says then heads to the bathroom

I wait on the couch then he comes out "I'm sorry I have to go..." he says "oh it's ok" I reply "I know we just broke up not that long ago, but I hope to see you again" he says before leaving

I just sit on the couch in shock

Lol ik this story is a fast burn I'm just to lazy to do long books so I do short ones that you can read in 20-40 min ok bye
