I go on the Uber eats app and order stuff from the vons by my house. I get popcorn and just some stuff for my pantry, then I get started on making Chris an apology meal aka his favorite food.
As I'm finishing up with the food my doorbell rings and I open it up. "Hi, thank you" I say to the man handing me my food "oh no problem, hey can I get your number by chance?" He asks "I- um.." is all I can say before I get cut off "sorry dude, she has a boyfriend" my favorite brunette boy says behind him.
"Oh sorry man I didn't know" the guy says before leaving "thanks" I say chuckling at him "of course my lady" Chris says than bows
He sits at the chairs on my center island and takes a big sniff "I see your making my favorite" he says then smirks at me "yea, it's an apology meal" I say putting the food on his favorite plate (monkey plate)

I hand him the plate and see a huge smile on his face "sorry haha" I say he looks up at me still smiling "it's ok, you are still my favorite person" he then looks back down and starts to eat while I just stand there flustered.
After he finishes we sit on my couch and watch the bee movie, half way thru the movie I feel his hand touch mine. I move a bit closer to him and he moves his arm around me "Chris" I say "hmm" he replys still watching "I still love you.."
Silence fills the room after what I say
"I- I should go" he says grabbing his jacket then heading out. I sit on the couch in regret as the bee movie continues to play. I feel my tears filling my eyes and I start to cry, I messed up so bad. I thought he would've said something like I love you too or let's get back together but no, he just left me.
I feel like he is just playing with my feelings at this point, he'll show his sweet side to me and as soon as I open up my heart to him he pulls away. I grab my phone and text Sadie to come over, soon she arrives and she holds me as I cry into her arms.
"You need to stop trying to get back together with Chris, maybe stop dating for a while. You know it's okay to be single with your best friend." She says to me I agree with her and she end up sleeping over.
Sry this took forever Also where should she go for her birthday (somewhere tropical)
