As far as I knew we were walking for a while. We walked out of the school by using a secret passage in the middle of a hallway. We passed many trees until all of us saw the light of the bonfire. That was literally the only source of light that we were able to see but somehow these other two weren't bothered about it at all.
Slowly we also started hearing the music as we walked closer. Step by step as we got closer the rhythm of a typical party song was being taken in.All the crazy shit I did tonight. Those will be the best memories. I just want to let it go for tonight. That would be the best therapy for me...
We quickly got noticed and got greeted by a bunch of people who somehow also knew my name. Maybe that might be because there hasn't been any new people for a while?
I have to say they managed to find a lot of people for this party. Not even a couple of minutes went by and I was stranded alone there. I didn't even notice them going away. I decided to walk around and see what everyone was doing. The weird part is that I still felt included and not alone.
I noticed a big table somewhere near a tree with some drinks and snacks. I was pretty thirsty and decided to go for a drink. Red liquid was being poured in a cup by me. It looked extremely sweet but really good. I took a sip from it and swished it around in my mouth to really taste it. Either it was because I was really crazy or this drink just tasted heavenly good. There is literally no other word than heavenly.
"Tastes heavenly right" a deep voice said. I turned my head to see who it was. A blonde guy with cold blue eyes was staring at me with a smirk. "I am glad you came! It wouldn't have been a good party without you" Darius said with a hint of sarcasm. "Wouldn't have wanted it any other way" I said also in a sarcastic way. "Let the show begin right. Let's see how this one goes." he said referring to something specific that was extremely confusing. And just like that he walked away.
I was left there still with my drink in my hand. I just stared at the direction he left. You know I am actually starting to become used to these crazy people with their weird imaginations. No wonder they are in a special school like this.
I turned around and decided to sit somewhere on a bench or even a fallen tree. I was walking while my eyes were fixed on this bench which was just outside of the party area. I sat down and took a deep breath. Hell I don't even know what type of challenges I will go through here.
It still didn't make any sense that there was a party in the middle of the woods where those special students were invited to. What school even allows that or can't even find out about.
I noticed there was a small lake just some meters in front of me. I could faintly hear the water stream since the music was so loud. I got up and walked towards the little lake.
"My baby boy...you know what helps?... look at the water in the lake. This will calm you down and let you feel at ease" I remembered my mom saying. Oh how the old days were easy. I am wondering what went wrong.I quickly switched from thought by thinking about the dream. Why could I not put every part of her face together? I know that she is not even real but I am just curious. Once I read online that if you see a face in your dreams, you have definitely seen them at some point and your brain has remembered it. So who could this possibly be.
I then scolded myself out of my thoughts. It is just one random dream it doesn't mean shit.
"Hi?" My thoughts got interrupted. I turned to see a girl sitting on a tree that broken but sort of dangled above the water.
Brown long hair. Rose cheeks. Plump chapped lips. Light colored eyes. She had a pale skin tone with eye bags. Yet there was some beauty about her.
"Huh oh hi?" I answered after a good amount of time. "Can I help you?" She asked. "Oh no I'm just sitting here" I said. "Right...uhm well basically, I thought a teacher sent another student to find me" she said while hopping off of the bended tree. "The whole time they have been sending students to either check what I'm up to or where I am" she said. "Oh right. Well uh I just walked towards the lake not knowing anyone would be here" I said and she just nodded her head. "I won't bother you anymore so I'll just go back to the rest" I said and turned around.
"To the rest? Are there more people out here" she asked. I looked at her confused "uh yeah there is a whole bonfire where everyone is at" I said "there's a bonfire right now ?" She asked. I nodded my head while still being confused. She probably has some mental problem because anyone can hear and see the bonfire from here."Oh I did not know" she said. "Ehm I will go back now" I said to quickly round up the conversation. "Wait" she said and I turned around. "What's your name?" She asked and gave a faint smile. "I'm Zario" I said without even hesitating.
Well for now she was the first person I did want to get to know here even though she is not really at the right state of mind right now. There was something about her. Besides that...from all of the people I met here she seams like the realest out of all of them. "My name is Amara" she said and smiled. "Well Nice to meet you Amara" I said. "You know you are the first person I actually had a conversation with in this whole week" she said and touched her arm with her hand. "How come?" I asked her. "Well uhm I just moved here a week ago and no one besides the teachers wanted to talk to me." She said. "Though the teachers did actually send other students to talk to me but they all only asked if I was okay" she said.
And then you have me who has been constantly talking people who are trying to get more information out of me. "I also just got transferred here today" I said in order to make her feel more at ease. "Really? So we are both the newbies here" she said. I nodded in response wanting to end the conversation now because that was enough information for one day. "Well I will see you somewhere around" I said. She nodded and waved goodbye as I was turning around to walk away.
I was kind of getting intruiged by her beauty. She looked so messy but something about how her face was structured and designed appealed to me. She looked like a mess yet breathtaking.
I walked back to see everyone standing in a group. "Zario there you are!" Someone said from behind. I turned around to see Malia. Oh nice we have the hyped one again. It almost seems like she is enjoying her time here to the fullest.
