Chapter 26 - Framed

 Alexis P.O.V

Right now I was laying in my bed and I heard a knock at my door. "Come in" I said out loud. The door opened and in walked in 2 guards, Rosely and 2 more guards behind her. "What's going on?" I questioned Rosely. "Alexis, you need to come with me" Rosely replied. "Why?" "You will find out soon enough. Go get ready please" "Ok, can I talk to you before we go where ever it is I am needed?" "I am sure we can talk for 10 minutes on the way there" "Ok, that's all I need. Can you please step outside while I change?" "Of course". All of them left and I quickly changed into a knee length red dress, black flats and grabbed my phone. As I stepped into the hallway I saw Rosely standing there by herself so we could talk. "Ok, so let's go talk on our way to the throne room" Rosely spoke. "Why are we going to the throne room?" "Alexis... someone framed you for a crime that I know you didn't do" "WHAT?! Who was the person?" "I am sorry but they have to remain anonymous for certain reasons" "Well what was I framed for?" "I can't tell you, but Zayn's and I's parents will" "Ok" "Well here we are" We were now standing in front of the doors to the throne room. My hand were starting to get sweaty and shaky from the nerves. "Don't worry, everything will be fine" Rosely spoke softly. "How can you be so sure" "Because I just do...Now we have to go inside" The guards that were at the door opened the doors and Rosely walked over to where her parents were while I went to go stand in front of everyone.

Rosely's dad spoke up "Hello Alexis". I bowed to show my respect. "Hello your grace, how are you?" "I am well, but today we are here because you have been accused for a crime that we don't know if you've done them" "Well what are they?" "You have been accused for treason, robbery, and murder" "WHAT?!" By now the whole room was quiet that I am sure you could hear a pin drop. "Alexis, where were you yesterday after our discussion at the ball?" "I took a walk around town.. I just couldn't handle all the information I got" "Around what time were you in town?" "Around 10... I was there for a good 2 hours then came back to the castle" "Someone was killed in town around 11pm and you were in town around that time... Is there something that you aren't telling us?" "If you are suggesting if I did it, i didn't" "That is not at all what we are saying. We will look further into the 3 crimes but as of right now and until further notice you will not be allowed to interact with anyone" "What?! That is wrong! Can I talk to Rosely? My mate?" "I am sorry but no" "Is that all?" "Yes, you may go now"

I then walked out of the throne room and started to make my way to Rosely's room. I needed to talk to her. As I got to her door there were 2 guards standing there and one of them spoke "What do you think you are doing?" "I am here to see Princess Rosely" "The Princess is not in her room right now.. You aren't even allowed to speak to anyone" "That is none of your business! Just... Rosely asked me to meet her here" "I did?" spoke a voice behind me... it was Rosely and Zayn standing hand in hand. "Alexis, what are you doing here?" Rosely asked. "I need to talk to you but these two stupid guards won't let me in your room" "Well maybe that's because you aren't allowed to be near her or anyone for that matter!" Zayn yelled. "Rosely please" I begged. "I am sorry Alexis, but my dad strictly said to not to talk to you. He may be my dad but he is also your king" "Bu-" Zayn cut me off before I could even finish.. "Guards, take Alexis to her room now" "Of course your grace" Five seconds later I am now in my room. UGH! This totally sucks!

There was suddenly a knock at my door and in came in a guard. He handed me a note and then left. I shrugged and opened the letter. It read...

 'Hello dearest Alexis,

You may be wondering why you have been accused/ framed and well let's just say it was a little present from us to you. We miss you so much! You already have met your sister Jenna and now it's time for you to see us once again. We literally cannot wait to see you! Until then, oh and sorry about the whole framing you thing, it's just we want you to know the pain we felt. This is also another story for another time though. See you soon and tell Rosely and that mate of yours that we can't wait to see them! Bye sweetheart.

Holy crap! My parents did this to me?! What the actual hell? And what do they mean by pain? Well, I guess I will have to wait and see what it means.
