Chapter 30 - Meeting Zack?...

   "Now I want you to-" I practically zoned my mom out. I have been here with my mom and Zayn's mom in the throne room since 9:00AM and it's now 1:48PM... Almost. 5. Hours. 5 hours of learning about the policies, the right words to use when talking with a citizen about the situation they are telling you, and most importantly... How to actually be an amazing Queen. Everything is just so intense and every time people talk about how important it is to make sure that the kingdom isn't going to be taken over or fall apart right in front of my eyes, it makes me scared. Scared that i'll make the wrong decisions and choices when it comes to dealing with things with our kingdom and the people in it. Not only am I stressing over this whole "Queen" thing, I also can't help but think about tonight. I'm meeting with the man who supposedly knows everything about what Robert had in store for Jenna and I, and it is nerve-wracking not knowing what this man will be telling me. 

      A hand waved in front of my face and it was my mom trying to catch my attention. "Honey, is everything alright?" She asked me. "Oh yes mother, everything is ok. I just have a few things on my mind but don't worry, I listened to everything that you told me today." "Well that's a relief. I was starting to worry that something bad has happened over these past few days and that it has taken a toll on the way to prepare for your coronation" "Of course not. But we have been here for now 5 hours... Could we continue this tomorrow?" "That won't be necessary my dear, we have finished all there is to cover today". Then Zayn's mom began to speak, "My husband along with your father will be teaching you and Zayn on fighting skills. I hate the idea of you joining in but even a beautiful girl like yourself has to be prepared for anything when it comes to running a kingdom." I nodded, "Of course." She excused herself and my mother then walked next to me, looping her arm with mine and we started to walk out of the throne room. My mother started, "So, earlier you said something about something being on your mind. Do you want to talk about it?" I looked at her and smiled slightly, "Not really. But don't worry mom, everything is alright like I said earlier. I just miss being back at our castle, I've had to adjust here rather quickly but it's just so different. Not a bad different, quite the opposite actually" "And how are things with you and Zayn? Is he treating you well?" I smiled, "Yes mother. He is just so... Amazing. I never once actually thought that he would be the one that I would spend the rest of my life with but I am so glad that it is him. I know I might sound like a girl who doesn't know anything about love but when it comes to him, I know I love him. With everything in me, I love him." By the time I was done, I looked at my mom and she had tears in her eyes along with the look of pride. She stepped in front of me, hands on my shoulders, and she started to say, "Honey... I am so proud of you. You deserve nothing but happiness in this world and I am happy that you have found that with Zayn. I have no doubt in my mind that you will make an amazing Queen." "Thank you mother" I hugged her and whispered in her ear, "For always believing in me." "Always" We stopped hugging and just then a guard came up to us, "I'm so sorry to interrupt my Queen and Princess, but my Queen you are wanted in the castle's library" I looked at my mom confused. Seeing the look on my face she spoke, "Your father and I have been working on something that involves the help of history. Don't worry about it my dear." "Ok, have fun i guess?" "Trust me honey, I won't" She laughed and I joined her. We hugged once more and she walked off with the guard. I  smiled and walked the other way towards my room.

      Once I was in my room, I quickly walked over to my closet and changed from being in a big dress to changing in a more simpler looking dress. My mother thought it would be a good idea to see what it would be like to be in the same size dress that I would be wearing for my coronation and let me tell you, the struggle is real. Now that I was finally changed into something more "appropriate" I touched up my make up and hair. Looking at the time I saw that it was 3:00PM sharp. Where does the time go? Seeing as I have 3 more hours until I have to go meet with the mysterious man, I walked out of my room and just started to walk around the castle. I passed by a room that I've never seen open and my curiosity got the best of me. I walked towards the door and was about to open it when my hand was grabbed and looking up I noticed that it was Zayn. "Hey babe, what are you doing?" He asked me while giving me a kiss on the lips. I responded, "I  was just walking around the castle when I noticed this door" "And what is so special about this door?" "I've just never seen anyone go in there" "Well then it must mean that there is nothing in there" "Then why-" "Look, maybe we should just ignore the door and we could go see the animals out back. I know how much you love to go outside to see them." I nodded but my eyes were still focused on the door. "Baby girl?" I shook my head and looked up at him, "Course. Let's go" He smiled and held my hand as we started our way towards the back of the castle. In the corner of my eye, I noticed that Zayn kept his stare at the mysterious door. I knew that I would have to go back and see for myself and see what was in there when I knew for sure that no one would know or see me try.
