Chapter 31 - Blood Moon...

Princess Rosely's P.O.V

                      "You ready baby?", Zayn questioned me. Today we are going to go to the town hall clearing to do some last minute preparations for the Blood Moon tonight. The Blood Moon is the one night every year when the newly bitten vampires, the guards in training, and other chosen vampires will fight and do challenges to be able to have the opportunity to receive a Moonlight Ring. A Moonlight Ring enables vampires to be able to become warriors, have the chance to receive more blood for their families, and some other opportunities. The Blood Moon is also the night where certain vampires will be turning into Hybrids. A Hybrid is a vampire with the werewolf gene but there is also another kind of Hybrid... A Tryphohybrid. It is the most rarest type of Hybrid (it is where a vampire has the werewolf gene but also the witch gene). The vampires who wish to not become a Hybrid but do not turn into one, they will be able to simply turn off the gene in their system.

                       Finishing some last touches on my make up, I look over at Zayn and respond, "Course. Let's go". Zayn smiles and I can't help but smile back. I still haven't said anything to anyone about what happened with Zack. I don't exactly know how to just tell everyone that I know that they basically took away my memory and any recollection I could possibly have had of Zack or of Robert. "Babe". I snap out of my thoughts and grab a hold of Zayn's hand, "Let's go".

                       "Are we all ready to go?" My father questioned all of us. Everyone was going including: the Lords, and their mates. "Yes, let's go. We wouldn't want to keep the Elders waiting now, do we?" King George (Zayn's dad) responded. We all then walked outside with the guards surrounding all of us. I've noticed that recently there have been more and more guards. As if they are on edge about something. Guess I have to add that to my list of things I have to find out about. Before I could step inside the limo, Jenna grabbed a hold of my arm and asked if we could talk for a second. I looked over at everyone else who were already in the limo waiting for us. So I looked to back at Jenna and responded, "Can't this wait? We need to go now." Jenna shook her head, "No, I need to talk to you now". I sighed, looked inside the limo and said, "Sorry everyone, looks like we will be a little longer. You all go ahead, Jenna and I will go in another limo and meet you all there when we are done". My father quickly spoke, "Oh sweetheart, it's alright. We can just wait until you two finish up talking". I shook my head, "No, it's fine dad. We might be awhile and like King George said, we don't want to keep the Elders waiting." My dad was still hesitant but nodded his head anyway. "Ok, but don't be too long". I chuckled and said, "Don't worry dad, we won't be". I leaned down and kissed Zayn on the lips, closed the limo door, and told one of the guards to call for the other limo. 

                       As the guard walked away and the limo left, Jenna turned me so that we were facing each other and she spoke, "Ok, so what the hell is up with you? You haven't looked at me or spoken to me once". I groaned, "Are you serious? You seriously had to ask me THIS now instead of later?" Jenna rolled her eyes, "Rosely, I know you didn't really go to that antique store last night. Where did you really go?" I took a step towards her, "That's non of your business Jenna. If I wanted you to know then I would've said something to you, now wouldn't I have?" Jenna rolled her eyes yet again, "Rosely, stop being so goddamn stubborn! I know you're pissed off about something so just tell me what the hell it is!" I started to get angry, "Who the hell do you think you are raising your voice at me? Incase you forgot, I'm not only the one who is constantly saving your ass but I'm also your futu-". She stopped me mid sentence, "Don't you dare pull that card on me! We are best friends and-" I began to laugh, "Oh really? So best friends hide secrets from each other?!" "What the hell are you talking about?!" "Hmm, let's start off with the fact that everyone around me made me forget basically a whole damn year!" Right when I finished that sentence, Jenna didn't say a word. All of the guards around us looked shocked to say in the least. One of them walked up to me and said, "Princess Rosely, the limo will be here shortly". I nodded, "Thank you Arthur". He nodded, bowed, and walked back to his post. I looked back over at Jenna and scoffed, "Huh, didn't see that coming did you?" She slowly started to look me in the eye and said, "Rosely, you have to hear me out. We did it to protect you from Robert-" I stopped her, "And look how that turned out". Just then we see the castle gates start to open and the limo drive in. "It's more than that-" I raised my hand up to stop her, "Jenna just... Can we just talk about this later? The limo is here and I have lot's of things to do before the Blood Moon tonight". Jenna tried to talk but I continued to speak, "And keep this whole thing between us, ok? I don't need my parents or Zayn to worry about me more than they already do". I was about to sit down in the limo when Jenna spoke up, "Can I just ask you one thing? How did you even find out?" I sat down and the limo door closed behind her as she sat inside too. "Zack", I responded. Jenna looked at me with a look of guilt and shock. But neither one of us spoke the whole ride to the town hall clearing.
