He walked into the basement of the mansion, where his father, Wilson Henia usually keep hostages, with a phone to the ear hoping to hear some uplifting news from the commissioner.
"Good morning, commissioner. How was your night?" Dure said into the phone as he sat down in front of his new hostage. He signalled Ameed to remove the bag they had placed on her head so she could see who was in front of her.
"Good, Duke Dure. So I'm here with the Director of the RBI right now and he has some things to say to you". The Commissioner said before handing it over to the RBI.
"Good morning Duke Dure". The Director said with a rather hoarse and deep voice.
"Good morning, Director". Dure greeted in response.
"My friend just informed me of last night incidence and how you rushed over. First of all, I must apologize for the inconveniences we'll give you, Duke Dure".
"As long as the Henia names would be cleared" He replied hypocritically.
"There were exactly 1000 dozens in each trailer. Making it 3000 dozens in all three. The total money in all three trailers will be going to over five hundred million US dollars. Whoever had those trailers would be at a huge loss. It definitely can't be the Pharmaceuticals because their income is not even close to a hundred million dollars so they wouldn't have such money to buy even one trailer. That brings us to the conclusion that the trailers were planted on them. Nevertheless, we will still have to shut down the pharmaceutical temporarily to inspect every medicine here, just to be sure. Once that is over, it's free to start running as it should". The director explained to Dure while the hostage kept looking at him.
"That's good to hear, Director. So what about the owner of the trailers? Are they back for their trailers?" Dure asked.
"Not yet, Duke Dure. We're still on search for them". The director replied.
"Please inform me once you catch them. I want to personally beat them up for trying to dent my reputation". Dure said to the man.
"No worries, Duke". The man chuckled and that was the end of the phone conversation.
"Ungag her, Ameed". Dure ordered while he put his phone into his pocket and he obeyed.
"You must be Diazebel". Dure started while Ameed handed over to him a remote.
"What do you want with me? And why tie me up like a criminal? I did nothing wrong". She croaked, her throat was dry for she has been held hostage for a whole day now.
"What I want is just the truth. Once I get the truth, I'll leave you be. Don't make this harder for yourself. I beg you". Dure pleased with her. But she laughed. She laughed like a maniac while Dure watched her calmly.
"I'll love to know and understand why you're laughing. So we can laugh together. It's not good to laugh alone, you know. So you won't be tagged a maniac". Dure said to her, trying his best not to get angry at her. For if he does, he would have to kill her to unleash his anger. Dead men tell no tales.
She stopped laughing then spat on Dure's face. "I knew this day would come. He warned me already".
Ameed handed over to his master the handkerchief he had brought for his boss to clean his face.
"I'm guessing that he is Phillips Henia". Dure said as he handed over the handkie to Ameed. Diazebel smiled but said nothing more.
"All I'm asking for is your corporation, Diazebel. I have gone to confess my sins to father. Don't let me wet my hands with your blood. All I just want to know is how Eleanora Andrews died". Dure begged her again. Diazebel tensed on her seat when she heard the name. She knew a day like this will come. She knew he wouldn't believe if even if the world says Eleanora is dead. But she can't betray her master. She had swore to him.
