• jj's p.o.v •
they had y/n and i was tied up. they tortured her and i had to watch. it was like i was paralyzed and i couldn't move or do anything. they did unimaginable things to my y/n. i screamed, my lungs sore and hurting from how loud i was screaming. she was unconscious from what they were doing to her. i screwed my eyes shut, tears streaming from my eyes. i couldn't watch them do this any longer. i wanted to die. dying was better than watching them do these things to the love of my life.

- y/n's p.o.v.
i woke up feeling jj moving a lot, tossing and turning.i looked over and he was all sweaty and moving restlessly, like he was having a bad dream. i shook his arm. "jj" i spoke softly. he still wasn't waking up. "jj" i said louder and shook his arm.

i was getting a nervous because he wasn't waking up he looked like he was having a panic attack. "jj!" i raised my voice shaking his shoulders. he woke up startled, as he shouted. his breathing was heavy and sweat beads on his forehead glimmered in the moonlight.

"y/n?" he questioned as he saw me. he engulfed me in a hug so tight. my ear was against his heart. i heard how fast his heart was beating. he must have had a really bad dream. i wrapped my arms around his bare torso. "jj it's okay. i'm right here." my heart broke at the sight of him so hurt and scared.

i pulled away grabbing his face in my hands and placing a kiss on his forehead. a tear fell and i wiped it with my thumb.

"what happened jj?" i asked leaving my hand on his cheek caressing it, scooting my body closer. "you- these people were just doing terrible things to you and." he paused. "i had to watch you and i was screaming so loud. my throat was hurting so bad." more tears fell from his eyes, his throat raspy. his grip around me became tighter. "oh j. i'm right here." i pulled him into my chest as his arms wrapped around me tight. "im right here baby." i spoke above a whisper, his head against my chest.

i placed little kisses on his forehead. i rocked him back and forth. "no one's gonna hurt me j. im right here. we're okay." i reinforced.

"i love you so much." his raspy voice spoke softly. "i love you jj." i felt his breathing become steady. "just close your eyes. i'm right here with you." i held him close to me as we both drifted off to sleep.
