A/N: Alright, here's a story on Moon's brother, Justin. (Before he died)
He was pretty much in a perfect world.
He had the cutest little sister, great parents, he was outstanding in the blacksmith world, and even better, he had a date tonight!
It kind of seemed like the world was just completing itself, and Justin loved it.
His sister wasn't named yet, so he had to just call her 'sister'. She seemed okay with it.
He had turned 14 a few weeks ago, so he was getting older, and to the point of almost finishing his biggest and greatest project!
It needed to be done before he went out tonight, though.
Carefully dipping the glowing metal into the water, the hissing sound and sharp smell reached him.
Pulling it out a few moments later, he grinned at the perfect blade.
He took his beautiful leather rope and wound it around the handle, eventually cutting the extra off and fastening it.
Now his final touch.
He took out the finishes.
Finishing was hard to come across here, so putting it on anything upped the price instantly.
As carefully as possible, he dipped the small brush into the finish, and dragged it across the blade, painting a small portion black and the rest a stunning blue.
As soon as he finished, he set it out to dry. He would show it off to his parents, then sell it for some serious coin.
What made this sword even more unique was the metal he used. Justin had found some extremely hard metal that was apparently called Vibranium.
With a little jog, he was out of his gear and heading towards Artemis's house.
He truly was excited for this date, he had chosen the very best spot to bring her to.
With a quick rap on her door, she opened it almost instantly, her stunning hazel eyes meeting his blue ones.
Brushing back his shaggy blonde hair with his hand, he grinned, and she took him by the arm.
They went on top of Justin's favorite hill with a cherry tree. As the sun set, they talked about multiple things, including his sister.
"So, your sister has almost flooded the house how many times?" Artemis asked.
"Six times." Justin laughed.
"And you guys have no idea how she manages to climb that high?"
"Not a single clue."
Eventually the wind picked up, and they had to run back as they began to get pelted with rain.
Artemis and him were drenched by the time he got her back home, but he thought the way she stood and the way her red hair stayed stunning, was probably the best sight he'd ever seen.
Little did he know it was the last time he'd see her.
He walked back home, completely ignoring the rain. He wasn't the slightest bit worried when he went to bed with a small bell going off in his head. A warning.
But now, he only wished he had listened to it sooner.
The next day was totally normal, up until midnight. Everything was dried from the rain last night, and when the other side of the village went up in flames, his first worry was his little sister.
He ran into the house and noticed she wasn't in her normal spot, near the corner.
"Sister?" No answer.
Worried, he looked everywhere as fast as possible before his own door started to flicker with light.
He climbed out a window and spotted his parents with his sister. She was crying, and they were surrounded by burning wood.
They looked at each other, and right before the flaming arch toppled down on top of him and everything went black, he saw them chuck his sister towards the river. Tears leaked out of his eyes at the sudden burning sensation.
Survive, little sister.
And wreak vengeance on whoever did this.
And the next thing he knew, he was standing before very mighty looking people, being judged for his life, and whether he would have a happy afterlife, or not.
It made him very grateful when he was given a very happy afterlife with his parents and Artemis. He watched over his sister, Moon, every day, and once Osafis has infused power into his blade, which had survived the fire, and set it up for Moon to find, he knew everything would be okay.
And Moon would avenge him.
Oh wow, that got somewhat sad. RIP Justin. Well, now we know. He watches over Moon every day, like a loving big brother. :3
