Twin Jades and The Pearl of Gusu

Chapter 6

It was almost evening when both the twins were returning to the cloud recesses after tackling with the resentment that was detected.

It was really strong as reported, but they eventually managed to control it but unfortunately one of their disciple was attacked and affected by it, he looked dead but when Meng checked his breathing was still there.

They decided to discuss it with their uncle and elders.

As both the twins had almost reached the main gate, they heard a commotion.

On the other side was the jiang clan who had lost their invitation card and were not being allowed to enter.

The Lan disciple was very politely arguing with them and was adamant on entering them without any invitation.

Suddenly the disciple stopped talking and looked in a direction behind them.

When the jiang disciples looked behind they saw two people, no- two identical people leading a group of another lan disciples.

They felt like they were in heaven by looking at the ethereal beauties dressed in white, both of almost identical faces one with just more feminine features and with different eyes , almost same height but a slight different physique and one was a boy while the other was a girl.Both looked like some divine angels.

All the at the moment knew that these were the famous twins of gusu, the second young master and the third young lady of Gusu Lan.

Their aura screamed power and elegance and not to say the robes and the headband with clouds they were wearing also spoke of their position in the clan.No one needed a explanation on who they were.

While Lan Meng and Lan Wang Wangji saw a group a quite rowdy cultivators arguing with the disciple who was assigned to check for the invitation.

When they reached all bowed and a young boy almost of their age, if not a little younger than them came forward.

"Lan er Gongzi, Lan Guniang" The boy addressed . "I am Jiang Wanyin, Son of Jiang Fengmian, The heir of Yungmeng Jiang, This is my elder sister Jiang Yanli and my brother Wei Wuxian" The introduced and bowed and also gestured towards two other figures who too bowed both twins returned the bow with a nod but didn't say anything.

Lan Wangji kept a straight face, while Lan Meng observed the other two figures a young lady maybe almost of their elder brother's age and a boy want- a quite handsome boy and the most interesting thing was that for the first time someone was not staring at her but her gege!!

'Okay this is going to be quite interesting, what's his name again,oh yes Wei Wuxian-' Lan Meng thought, but she also saw some glint of mischievous in the eyes, suddenly it met hers and the boy gave a smile it kind of looked flirty, but despite that she didn't feel disgusted like the other times the other was not staring at her body but her face her eyes and his eyes now carried pure innocence and respect unlike the stare that was given to her brother okay that was interesting- again but suddenly a white figure blocked the vision her brother came forward her, the ever perfect cold face now had a quite visible frown.Meng knew perfectly how to read people and she knew the other didn't intended any harm she didn't feel any lust or anything in the other's eyes but who would make her ever protective gege understand,he may have already kept the boy in his death book, she lightly patted her brother's arm that it was fine and calmed him, and then is when Wangji retracted.

The boy named Jiang Wanyin jabbed the other boy with his elbow, while the lady came forward with a polite smile and bowed again and started "Lan Er Gongzi Lan Guniang , we the disciples of Yungmeng Jiang are really sorry but we lost our invitation on the way somewhere in the town and now are not being allowed to enter without, if you could help... "

Lan Meng was contemplating while her brother with a straight face replied "No invitation, No Entry"

'Okay that was quite rude of brother but rules are after all rules and they being the heirs can't afford to be partial about it to someone and after all she knew her gege despite of the cold facade he would not let these people stay here like these he would surely help them in some way' Lan Meng thought.

Suddenly the boy named wuxian started talking or say blabbering "But gongzi how can you say that, don't you see we have so many disciples along with us and our shijie, and it's almost time for the sun to be set, how can we now go all the way back to town to get the invitation back, do you intend us all to stay here like this all night"

Lan Meng knew her gege would do nothing like this and she tried to explain but suddenly she felt a hand or her arm, may be her brother didn't want her to talk or something-

"No invitation, No Entry" Her brother said in a cold tone again.

The boy now in a whiny tone started again which kind of sounded flirty "But Gongzi~ mmm-mmm--mmmmhmmmhmm"
Ohh wait what brother used silence spell? And that too on a outer disciple? Okay that was again something new? Was her brother that annoyed?

While the other jiang disciples were now staring at them and each other questioningly and then when the fellow lan disciple said "Lan er gongzi applied the famous silence charm on the gongzi it would take 2min to worn it off"

And again the boy started whining with now closed lips "mmmhmmmmm".. Okay now that looks funny if not for the years Lan self control Meng had surely laughed.

And then is when brother gestured the other disciples who were carrying the body to walk away, Lan Meng saw other jiang disciples scared and confused but Wuxian's eyes shining with curiousity at the boy and then is when her brother too started walking away with a small tug in her sleep, a gesture to follow him.

Lan Meng when saw her brother walking away with a bit fast steps was confused and was going to follow her brother but stopped and turned towards the jiang disciples who now had a frown and confused eyes.

"Don't worry, Brother and I would try to find a way to help" She kept in low and short and with a short bow followed the direction of her brother .

While the other jiang disciples were now quite reassured by the words of the lady of cloud recesses but still doubted if the er- gongzi would agree to it..

And as then wuxian's charm worn off "huh- so arrogant of him, though the guniang was polite, is she his sister? May be she was scared of him. "

" Wei wuxian mind your words they are the heirs of the gusu lan" Jiang wanyin said.

"A-xian don't worry guniang said they would help" Jiang yanli tried to assured her brother and other.

"But shijie I doubt that block of ice would agree to do so and leave us in the cold whole night- he even silenced me" Wuxian said with a frown and a pout.

"Serves you right, who said you to whine such way in front of them" Jiang Wanyin said while Jiang Yanli giggled.

"Don't worry shijie I would fly in my sword and go back to the town and bring the invitation back" Wuxian said and took out his sword.

"But A-xian-"

"I would be back soon shijie, Jiang cheng take care of shijie and the disciples". Wanyin nodded and with other nod to his siblings, wuxian flew away.
