Daniel's POV
My eyes stayed placed on the dashboard.
My thoughts were not silenced, but in fact they were whirling in confusion as the loudness was consuming my entire brain.
How did they find out?
I needed to get home. I have learned many things about the boys over the years and if I got home late, let's just say the house would possibly burn to flames within any given minute.
School had already concluded 2 hours ago and my head was throbbing. My temples felt a gentle stab placed between both side of my head. I forgot that school was so complex. Why did I sign up for this prison of education filled with self centered princesses?
I placed my hands on the worn out steering wheel. I have been borrowing this rusty piece of crap for sometime now, it's owner is somebody who I have no intention of meeting.
I started the car and allowed my fingers to press the mint green play button. Music was exiting the stereo and the already known lyrics were plastered onto my lips in recognition.
Greenday
I started my car and drove out of the park lot. So many people attend this school, and I have a little bit of anger when it comes to driving. I mean I'm not a full on demented monster, but I'm a close shot.
That's when I saw her.
Kate
Now, this girl is pretty interesting, she shows up wanting to be unknown, undiscovered, maybe? She has a blood stain on the very top of her forehead. It is dry of course, but the fact that she doesn't care that it is visual makes me think there is hope for this world. I know how it plays with most girls. If they have anything on their clothing or even a zit on their drenched in make up faces World War breaks lose.
If I was even given the slightest chance to judge somebody by their choice of clothing, Kate and I would be best friends in a heart beat. Except for the fact that she is so guarded. If there was a wall between her and the rest of the universe, I think it would be too high to even climb over with a 10 foot rope.
Something inside me wants to break the barrier so badly though, I don't quiet understand why.
"Hey, you need a ride home?" I nearly shouted while rolling down the window shield.
She looked at my startled. Tugging at her earphones, allowing one to collapse to the floor dangling by her long and lean legs.
"Nah, It's fine my brother should be here any minute." She mumbles just loud enough to hear her muffled words. I couldn't help but notice how she constantly gazed at her iPhone.
She has been waiting for 2 hours now.
"It is really no problem, I don't want you to be waiting here all night." I offered gently.
"Uhhh I guess, but its not really my home." Kate's body slouched a bit in her stance. I could tell she was upset in her mention of home.
She hurled herself into the deteriorated car and forced a smile on her face. Looking at her, you could see that she was trying so hard to please me rather than pleasing herself.
Why would her happiness matter to anyone but her?
A vibration noise followed by a ding came form my black skinny jean pockets. I pulled out my phone and read the name of the recipient.
Ashton :3
LUKEEEEEEE! WHERE ARE YOU?! Schools been over for 2 hours now??? Hope your not having too much fun learning.;) I still don't know why you would choose to go there but whatever.
I quickly covered my phone with my hands that were now shaking. I didn't want to be placed in this situation. I probably seemed more secretive then I should be showing off.
"Who was that? Somebody important?" Her left eye brow raised in curiosity.
"Nah, It was nobody." I shrugged, allowing my breathing to inhale breathes causally through my nose. I was getting nervous, I could sense she was on to me and I sure hoped she wasn't the nosy type.
I guess it wasn't a complete lie, Ashton is a nobody in my eyes.
So, I hope you all like it so far this isn't my best writing but I really wanted to add another chapter to not leave you hanging. Also, I know we all want to learn about Daniel/ Luke. :) Any grammar errors I am sorry.(edit later if i have to) Don't judge me to harshly on this chapter pleaseeee. Thanks!
<3 Kat
