I slid on my shoes as I get ready to go outside to get water from the well, this was pratically an excuse to get away from my step-mother seing that she seemed to be having a bad day, she really should blow off some steam for the sake of the peace in this household.
Grabing a bucket, I walked down the stairs entering a big hallway and making my way through the front door.
Walking through the familiar path of the castle. I have arrived at the well, as I was done filling the bucket up with water I decided to just wait there for a while to lazy to go back even though I didn't do anything productive today except for filling a bucket of water.
Sitting down, I stare up at the bright blue sky watching clouds pass by slowly, branches swaying with the wind, listening to the birds sing as I took up my time admiring my surroundings.
"Nature really is beautiful" I whisper to myself, this place is what I needed, some peace and quiet.
...
A few minutes have passed so I decided to head back, as I was about to get up I suddenly flew forward, face planting on the ground, surprised from the sudden impact, I look behind me to see that it was my bestfriend Makki, having a goofy smile on his face.
"Makki what the heck? That hurt you know, is that how you say hi to a friend you haven't seen for two weeks?" I say irritated, I can't believe he just ruined my hair, it took me an hour to prepair it.
"Ok, ok sorry, can't a friend miss you?" Makki says as he gets up from me and dust himself.
"It's fine if you miss me"
"What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be washing the dishes for my step-mother or something?" I said when I remembered that it's Makki's turn to do the kitchen chores today.
"Wait. That sounded like an insult" Oikawa said as he realized.
"Probably is" Maki said as he rolled his eyes at a smilling Oikawa.
You see, Makki's actually one of my moms servants, we kinda bumped into each other in a random hallway from the castle and ever since then we hang out everyday. That was until my step-mother found out about it and banned me from ever seeing Makki because she thinks that I don't deserve any friends, but ofcourse I didn't listen, just because she was lonely and friendless doesn't mean that I coudn't be aloud to have friends of my own.
"I already finished that a few hours ago, and I came here to ask if you wanted to dump this place and go somewhere else" Makki says facing the other way of the castle.
"You mean right now? But I need to go bring this water bucket back, I can't just leave it here" I say motioning to the bucket near the well.
"We can bring it back once were done exploring the forest you don't have anything else to do right?"
I think for a while, then deciding to just go with Makki and bring the bucket later.
"That's the spirit! Now which way should we go?" Makki says looking from left to right, deciding on which path we take.
"Your a bad influence you know that right?" Makki chuckles from my comment, then decides to go to the left path.
"We won't take long right? I don't wanna roam in the forest at night"I say getting worried since I know Makki would probably wanna stay until midnight there.
"Don't worry, it would just be quick, were only gonna explore near the path then head back after a few hours" Makki says pulling my hand and dragging me in the forest.
