Oikawa's POV*

I was at a meadow picking flowers for the new flower vase I bought. Humming a sweet tune as I pick each flower one by one, it was a peaceful day.

"Ugh, I really can't do it!"
Yea peaceful for a minute.

I heard a voice coming from behind me, the sudden noise made me jolt up and look straight to whoever that was.
It was Makki.

"Makki you startled me!" I said, As I looked up at him I realized he was holding a knife.

Makki looked even more shocked than I was, quickly dropping the knife. He stepped back a bit.

"What are you doing? and why did you drop your knife?" I was confused, and how did Maki know I was here? I thought I was the only one that knew about this meadow.

Makki goes towards Oikawa. Putting both of his hands on Oikawa shoulders to make him listen to what he was about to say.
"Oikawa. You're my best friend and I don't want anything bad to happen to you. You know that right?" Makki said in a serious tone. Making Oikawa nervous.

"Yea.. I know.. I don't want the same thing to happen to you too. But why are you telling me this?" Oikawa asked. Makki looked at him. Fear and worry evident on his face.

"Oikawa I need you to run away as far as possible from here like right this instant" Makki says firmly, It doesn't seem like he's joking.

"What? Why do I need to run away? Did something happen in the castle?" I asked confused and worried.

"Tooru listen carefully, you're step-mother's trying to kill you and I was the one that was sent to do it"
Makki looked like he was more worried than I was. Letting go of my shoulders as he sat beside me in the meadow.

"Kill me? Why would she want to kill me?" I knew my step-mother never really liked me. But to the point of actually killing me. It was something I never thought she would actually do.

It was a devastating news to hear for Oikawa. Speacially when the sorce of it was about the only relative that he has.

"Oikawa, I don't want you to die cause of some stupid witch, we need to run away now!" Makki said getting even more worried.

Wait did he just say we? I thought it was just me that has to run away?

"Wait, wait your coming with me? it said in the book that the princess has to run away alone" I said emphasasing the alone part.

"Ok first of don't break the forth wall second I don't wanna see your ugly step-mother anymore, she scares me. And third if I don't kill you by the end of three weeks she's gonna have my head! And it's ready been two weeks!" Makki said holding he's precious head.

I just stare at him.

"What you don't want me to go with you?"

I thought for a moment. This wouldn't affect the plotline that much right?
"No. it's better if we go together"

"Great. Now let's just get going"I said before walking off to the forest with Makki to who knows where.

"Makki we've been walking for hours, my bad knee's starting to hurt, my outfits all muddy and worst of all my hairs ruined!" I shout at Makki and he looks like he could blow up at any second now.

"Can you stop complaining for 1 whole minute?! I lost track thanks to you" Makki spits back getting irritated about Oikawa complaining about his hair.

"If it makes you feel better you can rest while I look for a place for us to stay in" Makki says patting a big boulder, motioning me to sit.
