Stefan's Pov I'm opening my eyes and see the most beautiful women laying next to me. Valerie is sleeping and she looks like an angel. Her golden hair is spread out on the pillow and even her breathing is heavenly. I hear quiet sobs coming from the room next to us. I quietly get up not to wake up my love. She's so precious. I walk to the other room amd see my 7 year old daughter who's sitting at the edge of her bed sobbing.
"What's wrong little angel?"I ask my babygirl as I take her into my arms. She snuggles closer to my chest and I pass an arm around her.
"I had a bad dream"She tells me. I keep kissing her forehead and stroking her hair.
"It was only just a dream honey, it wasn't real"I reassure my daughter.
"Promise you won't leave me"She looks up at me and I smile down at my little angel.
"Of course not pumpkin"I tell her and put her back to her bed once she fell asleep in arms.
The next morning, we're eating breakfast when the doorbell rings. I get and open it to see my brother standing there with his girlfriend Kathrine. Once Valerie told me she was witch–which I found really cool– Damon opened up about his girlfriend being vampire. Of course the idea that one day she'll turn him and I will loose him is bothering me but I can't and I won't interfere into his happiness.
"Damon"
"Hello brother"He says and hugs while I jug him back. Kathrine steps through the threshold and walks into the kitchen she's immediately met with Danielle running to her. Somehow she's not scared of her even after she accidentally saw her vampire face.
"Kathy" She says and Kathrine picks up the little girl. Valerie was about to speak up when a voice sounded from the front door. I walked there and found my father standing there with an officer from the army. What a hell are they doing here. I thought I made myself clear the day I left with Valerie. I don't want to be a soldier.
