"So only one week left and the first years will be second years. You'll be a second year student." Kimiko said to me as we walked through the mall.
"Yeah but iv only actually been there a couple of months, and so much has already happened." I replied to her before sipping on my bubble tea. Kimiko stops me and we sit down, "I want to talk about this boy your dating!" I giggle at how excited she was to know about him. "He's very sweet, and caring. Hes also adorable but don't tell him that, he likes to be manly!" I explain to her and then we both giggle. "You look so cute together in pictures I've seen, I hope i get to meet him soon." She replied while sipping on her bubble tea. I pop one of the bubbles in my mouth before replying, "Of course you can, when all 3 of us are free at the same time."
We walk around the mall a bit more and buy a couple things before we stop at McDonald's and I order chicken nuggets as an old joke we used to say is "buy chicken nuggets and it might summon Hawks." It still makes me giggle but iv already met him now, twice.
"So your friends Denki and Mina, are they a couple?" Kimiko asked as she ate one of her fries. "Oh no, I think Denki likes Jiro, remember the girl singing at the festival?" She nods remembering her and I smile. "And Mina... I have no idea. I know she mentioned Shoto being the hottest at the school but I don't think they would make a very good couple, she has too much energy and he seems more to stay out the way, I guess." She nods at me again not really knowing who Shoto is. I bite into a chicken nugget and look out the window and I swear I saw Hawks fly overhead. I blink a couple times in shock and shake it off with a small giggle, when Kimiko asks what I was laughing at I just tell her some more stories about my time at UA so far.
After a couple more hours shopping we hug, say bye and go our separate ways, the sun was setting and I was a little on edge walking home alone after what's happened lately, I kept looking around at every sound I heard. Mostly caused by my shopping bags. This is ridiculous I'm a hero in training and I'm scared? Then the image of Dabi smirking from my memory made me run as fast as I could. Once UA was in sight I slowed down and walked through the doors, only to be greeted by Mina yelling at me excitedly.
