Jay, Ali, and Missy were sitting at the farthest table in the back corner of the lunchroom. Nobody expected these three to become friends and they really didn't want everyone to question why they were hanging out, so they'll just ignore everyone. Jay was rambling on about the new season of Gordi's Journey while stealing some of Missy's grapes and carrot sticks.

"Yo, why do you always steal some of Missy's food?" Ali asked Jay.

"Well Missy started packing extra food for me since now I'm in wrestling and should eat more appropriately for the sport. At least that's what Missy suggested." Jay answered.

"Well yknow how his family is and I just don't want him to get hurt while wrestling." Missy explain.

"Aw that actually super sweet that now two people care about Jay." Ali said.

"Okay yeah, lets stop talking about my sad, pathetic life. Now about the show-"

"Well  since we're asking questions, where's Samira? Your girlfriend?" Missy asked cutting Jay off.

"She's in choir, trying to rehearse." Ali said. Missy gave a quick oh before Ali continued. "Also she hates Jay and doesn't want to sit with him."

"WHAT?" Jay yelled. "Everyone likes me!"

"You're parents don't like you." Missy said.

"Well-"

"Or your brothers." Ali said.

"Okay-"

"Jessie is not the biggest fan of you." Missy continued

"She's an ex-"

"Also Lola." Ali continued.

"Okay but that's her lost."

"And Nick and Andrew only hang out with you because you force yourself into their group." Missy said.

"Well you guys like me. And Ali, you and me dated at the end of 7th grade." Jay said.

"Yeah and I still don't know what I was high on to make me have the urge to go out with you for like a week and a half." Ali said which cause Jay to give her a playful punch in the arm. Jay and Ali always joked about their little relationship and Missy always calls it their friendly flirting.

"Guys stop flirting. I don't need to see that gross stuff, you keep that to yourself."

"You're just jealous that we can flirt and you can't flirt. At least you can't flirt with Devon." Jay said.

"I don't have a crush on Devon!" Missy yelled defensively.

"Oh totally. So you're telling me that if Devon got back with Devin, you wouldn't be pissed?" Ali asked sarcastically.

"Well yeah I would..... but because Devin is a bitch and is toxic towards him and you don't want your friend to get hurt and be in a toxic relationship." Missy tried to explain, but Jay and Ali just gave her a 'we know you're lying' look. "I ACTED THE SAME WAY WITH JAY AND HIS RELAIONSHIP WITH LOLA!" Missy yelled.

"Damn Missy, did you just confess that you like me like how you like Devon? Do you like want to go out to Panera?" Jay said. Missy glared at him with Jay chuckled at his own joke.

"Magic Man. Lump has told us you do tricks, yes?" One of the Jansen twins asked, popping behind the three friends, scary the absolute shit out of them. "Can we please see?" The other one asked.

"Oh sure." Jay quickly started patted himself down, but after a few pats turn to the girls at the table. "Hey I left my deck of cards in my locker, do yall think you can go get them?" He asked Missy and Ali. The girls agreed and he texted the locker code to Ali's phone.                                               Ali and Missy walked down the hallway, talking about, mainly Devon, stuff, till they reach Jay's locker that is always coated with some type of substance. Ali entered the code and opened Jay's mess of a locker.

"Jeez how are we going to find some cards in this-" A tiny pink envelope with a red heart closing the envelope came fluttering down from the tip of his locker. The girls watch it on the ground and gave it each a look before looking at each other. Missy picked up the letter to inspect it.

"Is that what I think it it? Is this some joke?" Ali asked. Missy opened the letter and they both stared at the letter that was inside.

"Dear Jay, I'll make this short and sweet since I'm positive you have the reading ability of a 3rd grader.  I can't get you out of my mind. I think about you all the time and I'm always looking at you whenever you're around. If I fail 8th grade because I can only focus on you, you will have to tutor me. Hell it's gotten so bad that in my English notebook, I written down how many times you smile in that class. It's like I've become infatuated(obsessed) with your unibrow and  sense of cute yet bad fashion. I wish I have the confidence to tell you who I am or to tell you to meet me somewhere, so you can see who I am, but sadly I get choked up even thinking about you knowing how I feel for you, so this is the best I can do and I hope you appreciate that.                       Love- Your secret admirer."

"Code red! Oh my god, it's actually happening!" Missy yelled in a panicked voice.

"Someone likes Jay?!? Someone who can write a grammatically correct letter?!?"

"Should we tell Jay?" Missy asked Ali.

"No! Because what if Jay scares this person away!" Ali had her thinking face on before she shouted "Idea! What if we find out who this secret admirer is and matchmake them and Jay!"

"That doesn't sound like a good plan." Missy said.

"You're right. It sound like a great plan!" Ali yelled before running down the hall to wherever. Missy quickly grabbed the deck of cards underneath the locker octopus, before shutting the locker and trying to follow Ali.

It was now afterschool, a few minutes before the affinity group meeting, and Missy and Ali was talking about the potential suspect for the secret admirer.

"So just to be clear, it's not you." Missy said.

"Hell no! I've already had my fair share of causing ruckus with Jay. Is it you?" Ali asked.

"Definitely not." Missy said.

"Why so?" Ali asked trying to get Missy to confess her feelings for Devon. Although Missy didn't fall for it and just glared at Ali.

"Anyways, it has to be someone from our English class? Could it be Lola?" Missy asked.

"Nah. She still wants to brutally ripped off his skin and finger his nose hole so hard her fingers touches his tiny brain." Ali said.

"So we basically have no idea who this is person is." Missy said, defeated.

"Oh how bout we stalk Jay for a day? Yknow, see who makes the most sense as the candidate that wants Jay to ruin their life.....and their hole." Ali said.

"Okay Al-pal you did not have to say that."

"Yeah I did."
