I woke up and changed into a pair of black baggy cargo pants and a cropped white shirt, with an oversized zip up jumper. I grabbed my black and purple jordans and walked out of my room. I slid downstairs and grabbed my bag off the chair in the kitchen.

I looked at the clock. Shit, I'm really late. "Bye mama." I shouted as I opened the front door to see Javon and Jayla sitting in the car, outside of my house. I smiled as I walked towards them. I knocked on the window and opened the car door.

"Morning y/n." Javon smiled and gave me a side hug. Jayla said hi and drove us to school. I knew Jaden was gonna be hanging out with Ava, so I think I'll just hang out with my other friends later.

"Thanks for the ride, Jayla." I thanked and hopped out of the car. I walked into the school, going straight to my locker. I opened it as a figure appeared behind me. "Hey Josh." I laughed as I turned around to see my bestie.

"Girl, hey." He laughed and leaned against the locker next to mine. "So, I hear you set Jaden up with the bitch we do not talk about." He gave a slight gesture to exaggerate the fact he doesn't like Ava.

The bell rang and we walked to math. I opened the door and slid into my desk. I dropped my bag on the floor and picked up my books. I placed them on the surface. I looked up and saw that Ava had entered with her arm linked to Jaden's.

I rolled my eyes and turned around to see Josh looking at his phone. I tapped his desk as he looked up. "So why did you end up putting Ava and Jaden together?" My friend questioned and leaned on the desk.

"Oh don't start, I thought I was doing something good for once." I sarcastically smiled and turned back around. I sighed as the teacher started to talk. I watched as Jaden was falling deeper and deeper in-love with Ava, and to be honest it hurt.

Lunch came around and I walked down the hall to find Jaden uncomfortably sitting next to his new girlfriend. I moved away from them and slid next to Abi, she smiled. "Y/N, why did you set up your crush with the most annoying person in school." The girl asked.

"Look, why are you two blaming me?" I motioned to both of my friends. "After I did what I did, I realized I made the biggest mistake of my life."

"Maybe Josh could talk to him?" Abi suggested, as Josh shook his head vigorously.

"No." He swallowed. "I already tried to talk to him and he said he liked the bitch."

"Yeah and then he actually fell in love with Ava so fix it." Abi spat as she picked up her food and took a bite out of it.

"Okay, okay. I will try, but don't shout at me when it fails." Josh argued.

"You do realize that I am right here and I can still talk to Jaden." I stated as they both looked at me. "Josh if you don't wanna talk to him, I c-."

"No, I'll talk to him." Josh interrupted.

"Wh-." I started.

"I'll talk to him." He said. I nodded. "Change of subject but has anyone seen how cute y/n's brother is?" He laughed.

"GABE?" I whisper-shouted.

"Yeah. I mean come on he's cute." Josh protested.

"I can't agree to the fact that he's MY BROTHER." I argued.

"Okay, but can I ask him out?"

"I don't know his fucking sexuality. But I mean sure." I sighed as the bell rang through the cafeteria. I stood up and walked with Abi to english.

"Y/n, do you actually like jaden?" Abi asked as she wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, but it's fine because he doesn't like me."

"But he did."

"He doesn't now, so it's fine." I looked at her and walked into the classroom. I sat down at my desk and ignored Abi's glare burning into my side.
