I held my phone in my hands staring at Ava's number, wondering if I should call her telling her Jaden likes her and wants to go on a date or not. Why is this such a difficult decision? I pressed on her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hey y/n what's up." Her perky voice said through the phone.

"Hey Ava, so I'm just gonna get to the point, Jaden likes you."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah," I said quietly, trying not to make my voice break.

"Oh my god, thank you so much, I've liked him for so long, bye y/n. I'm gonna ask him out right now." She hung up the phone. I pulled my phone from my ear and I stared at the screen. My eyes started to water. I quickly wiped the small ones that fell down my cheek.

"Y/n, ¿Le dijiste a Ava?" (Y/n you told ava?) Gabes voice came into the room and sat down next to me.

"Si." I responded and brought my knees up to my chest. I placed my head on my knees and wrapped my arms around my legs.

"¿por qué? Puedo decirte que amas a Jaden." (Why? I can tell you love jaden.) Gabe sighed and wrapped his arm around my shoulders and held me close.

"Lo hago, pero no voy a dejarme enamorar de Jaden cuando le gusta alguien más." (I do, but I'm not going to fall for Jaden when she likes someone else.) I felt more tears fall down my face and onto Gabe' s hoodie.

"Mierda," ( shit) Gabe whispered as his other hand rubbed his forehead.

"que no le gusta a jaden ava?" (what does Jaden not like ava?) I asked as I looked up.

"Maybe?" He quietly said awkwardly

"WHAT?" I screamed but tried not to wake anyone up.

"Hmh." He sighed and hit his head on the headboard.

"So I just set Jaden up with someone he doesn't like?"

"Yeah." He dragged out. I pushed his arm away as he walked out of my room. I looked back at my phone screen and stared at Jaden's number, wondering whether to tell him or not about his date with Ava.

"Yo y/n vamos mamá necesita ayuda con algo." (Yo, y/n come on mom needs help with something.) Gabes voice shouted from downstairs, I wiped my faint tears and went down stairs.

I ran down the stairs slightly, waking up Ace as I rushed past her room. I heard a small cry from her room, I sighed and walked back. I opened the door to see her leaning on the frame of her cot, with small tears falling down her face.

"Don't worry Ace, it's okay." I cood as I cradled her in my arms. I pushed a few strands of hair out of her face and tucked them behind her ear, making a small smile appear on her face. Most of the tears had dried up and left small stains on her cheeks. I could tell she was getting tired again, so I placed her back into the cot and pulled the small blanket over her shoulders.

I walked out of her room and made my way down the stairs. To see Javon stood at the front door with Gabe. I smiled as he returned the gesture. "So what's up?" I asked as I got closer to them.

"Jaden is in love with Ava." Javon blurted out.

"Yeah, I know." I replied, with a faint smile.

"I'm sorry, Y/n he did really like you but after Ava told him she liked him, he actually fell in love with her." Javon apologized.

"Nah, it's okay. I can't make up Jaden's mind for him."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, it's fine. If that's all you had to say, I've gotta go to bed because it's late and I'm tired." I smiled and turned back to the stairs. I walked up to them and made it back to my room. I shut the door and flopped on my bed. I changed into my pajamas and pulled the covers over my shoulders.

I couldn't believe that Jaden liked me, I thought Javon was lying because Jaden said he liked Ava and obviously now he does. He could have been my boyfriend if I hadn't done this. It's now my fault that Jaden's in love with the most bitchiest girl in the school.

I've never liked Ava, mainly because she stole my last boyfriend from me over the summer, and she has now stolen my almost boyfriend from me. I already knew Ava liked Jaden. It was so obvious. She makes everything visible. She always got jealous when I hung out with the twins. But what can I do, I love them both and they've been my friends for years.

An- I'm sorry it's short, I've been busy with all my end of year exams and revision has been working me over and I've not been able to write much, so sorry if this sucks. I'll do better on the next chapter, I promise.
