Hey everyone, so this is my first story, and I'm not saying it'll be good, so please be nice <4
Also ive got lessons to go to so I can't write a lot, but ill try my best :)

There might be some brief mentions of blood throughout the story

You walked into the main room, and Tony greeted you. He walked up to you, shaking your hand. 'Y/n, right?'

'Yes sir.' As you spoke, you could feel people staring at you. You peered around, and saw the Avengers sprawled about the room, on couches and some sitting at the table. Most of them were staring at you, and you played with your fingers awkwardly.

'Damn.' A brown haired woman whispered, eyeing you up and down.

'Eyes off, y/n is our new recruit guys, lets not freak her out already.'

Everyone got up and walked up to you, grinning, all except a redhead, with toned muscles, studying you intently from a corner.

Steve, Wanda, Bucky, Thor, Yelena and Clint introduced themselves, and you subconsciously judged their poise, and imagined taking them in a fight, thinking of the weight, and how quick they seemed.

'You sure about this, Tony?' The redheaded woman asked, her gaze drifting down your body.

'Why wouldn't I be? She's a spy, and pretty smart too. She can help us, Natasha.'
'She's pretty, wouldn't want her face to get messed up.'

You glare in Natasha's direction, and cross your arms defiantly.
'I can fight.' You stated matter of factly, and strode past them, feeling their gazes follow you out of the room.

'Maybe ill take my shot with her, I swear she looked at me for at least three seconds.'
'You don't stand a chance, Barnes.' You recognised Natasha's sharp voice, and smirked, taking the stairs two steps at a time, finding your way to your room.

The next morning, you were awoken by a sharp rap on your door. You rolled out of bed hastily, and pulled on a hoodie, covering your bra and exposed stomach. 'Coming' you yelled, and swiftly tied your hair into a messy bun.

'Hurry up y/l/n.'

'Someone's grouchy.' You mumbled and opened the door. You gasped in shock as the person tackled you to the ground. You groaned as they landed on your stomach.

'You said you could fight.'

'Not at six a.m.' you smirked, and flipped Natasha over, pressing your arm onto her throat.

She glared at you and rolled over, crushing you under her again. 'Get up and take this stupid hoodie off, you can't train in it.'

'Yes I can' you protested, indignantly.

'Be down in less than three minutes. If u take more, I won't go easy on you today.' She left your room, slamming the door. You rolled your eyes and pulled the hoodie off, changing into a sports bra, and some tight shorts.

You grabbed your water bottle and an apple as you passed the kitchen, smiling at Thor, as he waved at you. Everyone else had clearly already gone down to train, or were still asleep.

As you entered the training room, the Avengers all looked up from what they were doing, and welcomed you. You had pulled your hoodie back on before coming down, feeling self-conscious.

You sighed, realising you would have to take it off at some point. You made your way towards the punching bags, where Steve was already warming up.
'Hey Steve' you smiled, and hung a bag up a safe distance from his.

'Y/n! Sleep well?'

'Mm. Never better.'

You noticed Nat on the other side of the room, practicing her punches with Clint. She had been looking over at you, and when your eyes met, she quickly went back to punching, more vigorously this time.

You sighed, and began to attack the bag. Left, right... duck, right, right, left... duck. You struggled to remember the exact pattern, but soon began to freestyle, allowing your mind to think over your encounters in the past two days.
Duck, left, right... you went harder and harder, but ignored the pain in your knuckles. You continued to punch for ages, but you didn't notice how long you had been going for, until you felt eyes on the back of your neck, and you snapped back to reality.

Looking down, you noticed your hands were bloody and knocked up, the punching bag deformed. 'Shit.' You wrapped your hands, covering the blood, and pulled off your hoodie, and stood in your sports bra and shorts. You were sweating heavily, your chest rising up and down.

Glancing around, you saw everyone watching you, and you suddenly felt self-conscious again.
'Jaws off the floor please.' Tony walked in, and dumped his stuff on the ground near the seats on one side of the room.

'Y/n, finish up, I want to see you fight.'

'Yes sir.' You felt sweat trickling down your neck, and you also felt everyone staring at you. You threw a couple more punches at the bag, and drained your bottle, knowing you would regret that later on.

You cracked your knuckles, and walked over to where Tony was sitting.

'Rogers, Barnes, Romanoff, get over here.'
Steve, Bucky and Natasha walked over to where you were standing. 'Yes?' Bucky said, eyeing Tony with curiosity.

'I'm going to assess y/n.' Tony explained, leaning back in his chair. 'Steve, you're up.'
'What, but Tony'-

'No arguing, let's go.' Steve looked worried, and you sighed, clearly he hadn't seen you fight yet.

'You heard him, come on Rogers.' You glanced over expectantly, and he gave in, following you to the ring. Bucky and Nat chatted as you got ready. You slipped under the rope, standing up again in the ring. Steve shot you another anxious look, stepping towards you.
