"Here?"

"Here."

"Now?"

"Now."

Christine feebly attempted to protest but Stevie lightly sinking her teeth into her earlobe silenced her.

They had wrapped the photoshoot at the top of the Empire State and just got back down into the lobby when they found out that one of the cars from the convoy had broken down, and 2 of them would have to share.

"We will!" Stevie had squealed before anyone else had a chance to say anything, and ran out to the cars, dragging Christine along behind her. It had been 3 months since they'd seen each other, the longest they'd been apart since the day they'd met. The 3 month break had been necessary, having spent the same amount of time together 24/7 to record Mirage. Another one of Lindsey's insane ideas. The only thing that had gotten the girls through it was each other, innocent nights spent huddled together against the winter cold of the chateau quickly developing into much more. By the time they wrapped on the album, the two of them were in the throes of a full blown love affair.

"You smell sooo good," Stevie mumbled, still nipping and kissing Christine's ear before moving on to her neck. "I've been going crazy without you."

Christine's breath hitched as Stevie's soft, full lips fluttered over her pulse point, her own hands starting now to wander across her lover's curves.

"God I've missed this." She tilted her head slightly to allow Stevie better access.

They'd been eyeing each other hungrily since being reunited. With the exception of Stevie, they'd all arrived in New York the day before. In classic style the band's lead singer had to make a grand entrance, showing up only 1 hour before the shoot for no particular reason that anyone could see. She'd been whisked off into hair and makeup and didn't see her bandmates until she joined them on the freezing observation deck. All Christine's annoyance at them missing the opportunity to spend the previous night together was forgotten. Wearing an utterly impractical white chiffon off the shoulder dress, and hair and makeup flawless, she was a vision. Chris had had to fight the desire to take her there and then; she was simply irresistible.

"Have you missed these?" She pressed two fingers to Christine's lips, who opened her mouth and began to suck them lightly. "I'll take that as a yes."

She glanced at the blackout screen behind the driver to make sure it was closed before swinging her leg over and straddling Christine on the back seat. She kissed her delicately before pulling back and drinking in the view. As the car sped through the city, the bright lights outside illuminated their faces.

"Oh, Christine. You are so, so beautiful." The heavy makeup around Christine's eyes made their sky blue beauty stand out. Stevie couldn't stop staring into them.

"Well I don't normally have this much blusher on to be honest, so that might have something to do with it."

"Will you stop that? Always talking yourself down. If I say you are beautiful, you are beautiful and that's the end of the matter."

"What do you think of the new threads?" She had started to embrace a more androgynous style, ditching the boho skirts and gypsy tops that had always been a better look on Stevie anyway.

"Oh my God, I love it. I can't believe how fucking sexy you look. I was so desperate to touch you out there on that roof Chris, I don't know how I controlled myself."

She finally sank her mouth onto her lover's. They loved to kiss. Men generally had a tendency to want to rush this part, they had found, and so they made up for it with each other. They had enjoyed long, beautiful hours in the chateau simply holding each other, talking and making out.

Christine drew her nails gently up and down Stevie's back. She knew she wasn't wearing a bra. Everyone at that shoot did; as soon as the cold air had hit, her nipples had hardened, tenting the light material of her dress. Christine had had to stifle a groan of delight and she wasn't the only one.

"Did Buck seem a bit weird to you?" she asked between kisses.

"No weirder than usual, why?"

"Dunno. Just seemed very keen on being around you all of a sudden."

"Can't say I noticed. Enough about him," she said, smiling conspiratorially and pressing her hands against the front Christine's jacket. "I have a gift for you."

"You are a gift for me," she mumbled, kissing the turned up nose in front of her.

"A real gift, silly. I think you'll love it." Her eyes flashed as she grinned before leaning down to her mouth once again.
