Kakashi's p.o.v. (11 years old)

Like always, I expected Guy to appear in front of me when I opened my eyes. But to my dismay, today that didn't happen.

After I did my morning routine, I went to take a walk around Konoha.

"Are you excited for tonight, dear? Do you want me to buy you some chips so that you can take it to your sleepover?"

"Mooommm, I'm not a baby anymore! And it's not a sleepover! It's a gathering of young Konoha's ninjas!"

"If you're gonna sleep there, then it's a sleepover!"

I agree with the mom, to be honest. The kid just can't take that blow to his pride, it's obvious.

And I can't believe that I didn't know anything about this gathering. That's a blow to my pride!

"Kakashiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, are you ready for the party tonight?" Guy asked.

"Shhhhhhh! If the adults hear the word party, they'll cancel everything!" Said Kurenai.

"No, I'm not ready..."

"Why not?! Are you not going? You need to go! It's the most perfect place to do a who can stay awake the longest challenge!"

Should I go? I mean, it's probably going to be very boring, but I don't want to disappoint Guy... cause he's my friend.

"I just haven't packed anything, that's all."

"What a disappointment, Kakashi!! I have packed everything I need!"

"I'm going to pack my things, see you there."

~time skip~

Which pjs will Guy like more? Wait, what???

"Kakashiiiiiiiiiiii" speaking of the devil...

"I'm going!"

As we went to the "party", there was a comfortable silence. We could start hearing people talk from afar now.

"Hey, Kakashi... d-don't leave my side ok? I wouldn't want you to get lost."

"Ok"

I'm so glad he asked that before I had to! Should I hold his hand? Whatever, I will! If things go wrong I'll just say I was drunk or something, this is a party after all!

I gathered all of the courage I had inside of me and...

Ahhhhhhh, I'm holding his hand!!!
Wait a minute, is it just me, or did Guy's face go a little red? Ladies and gentlemen, I think we hit the jackpot!!!

A few minutes later, disaster came upon us: Guy let go of my hand... to dance with someone else!! What a tragedy! How dare he???? Ok, I know he's not my boyfriend and therefore I have no reason to be angry at him. But I have decided that because this party is boring and gives me nothing to do but wallow in my sadness, I will stay angry at Guy and stare at him until he asks me to dance!

Guy's p.o.v.

"Hey, Might Guy, why is that guy staring at you like he wants you dead?" My dancing partner asks me.

"Oh, don't worry about him, he's just my rival." I reassured him "I'm almost sure he's challenging me for a staring competition... but he'll have to wait!!"

"Gather round people, we're playing truth or dare! Kakashi, I see you, you can't run away!!!" Some guy yells.

I sit between Kakashi and my dancing partner.

To be honest, I'm a little jealous that Kakashi wants to have a staring contest with my dancing partner now, after all, I'm his rival. Hey, my dancing partner was right, Kakashi's stare really does give the impression that he wants to kill someone.

A little while later, Kakashi and I were forced to dance together until the game ended.

"I'm sorry we weren't able to have a staring contest before... but I also find it really disappointing that you immediately gave up on me and tried to have a staring contest with my dancing partner!" I said.

"What? I wasn't trying to have a staring contest with you or your partner." He said and then he whispered so softly that I almost didn't hear him " I was just a little disappointed that you left me alone."

"Oh..." I wasn't sure of what to say "If you wanna know, I was always making sure that you hadn't gotten lost..."

"Thank you, I guess" he responded.

"You could've joined us though, if you wanted t-" I was interrupted when I started yawning.

"You're tired, let's go to sleep. Hey guys, we're going to sleep!"

"Good night, Kakashi."
"Good night, Guy."

Right before I fell into a deep sleep, I felt a pair of lips on mine. They were warm and felt just right. It was the perfect goodnight kiss.
