Sally

We kept talking and planning for a way to get out of here. We could imagine the whole place and the exit. It was almost two in the morning. Well, we guessed that time. We had no watches. No clocks were hung in our room. Nothing. Nick slowly went to the door and tried to open it but he failed. It was locked. Dammit! They locked our door and we didn't even notice.

"What now?" Nick frowned.

We all looked at each other, thinking of a good solution. We should not give up that easily. It was our only chance to get out of here.

"Wait, I forgot that I have a hairpin," Julia suddenly said untying her hair, then handed Nick the hairpin.

"Great, it can help," Nick sighed in relief.

Nick used the hairpin in unlocking the door and fortunately, he did it successfully after ten minutes of trying. He slowly opened the door and peeked outside to make sure that the place was clear. Nobody was outside. The hall was empty. It seemed like they all fell asleep already. Just one cultist was standing at the bar counter, drinking a glass of beer.

"There is one outside. We should get rid of him," Nick whispered as he closed the door again.

"Someone can creep outside and break a bottle on his head or something," Daniel shrugged.

"No way! Don't be stupid. If we do this, he may shout for help and we would instantly get caught by them. We have to escape from here without leaving any evidence behind us. They don't check on us until noon, so we have plenty of time to escape and report them to the police," Julia stated her point of view.

"You are right. But what other plans do we have?" I agreed with her.

Nick suddenly looked at me while rubbing his nape.

"What?"

"Sally, we may use you in our plan," Nick sighed after coughing nervously.

"How will you use me?" I arched my eyebrows in confusion and swallowed hard. It didn't seem like a good plan.

"You go outside and flirt with that cultist to grab his attention, then we will head towards the exit and you come after us as soon as you finish," Nick explained.

"No way I'm doing this shit! Why me?" I shouted in a whisper not wanting to be heard by the cultist and ruin the whole plan.

I glanced at Julia whose eyes were glossy and lips trembling. I immediately understood that she was afraid that maybe Nick would change his mind and choose her instead of me. I never wanted her to go through this again, so I sadly sighed and nodded in approval. I hoped that it wouldn't be too bad. I just wanted to protect Julia and never let anyone of those creeps touch her body ever again. I fixed my hair and clothes, then Nick quietly opened the door for me. I inhaled and exhaled slowly to calm my nerves down. I had to stay calm and steady so as not to ruin our plan. It was too hard though. I reached the bar counter and cleared my throat softly to grab his attention.

"How did you get out of your room?" The cultist snapped as he slammed his glass on the counter.

"Please don't raise your voice. I don't want my friends to know that I'm out here," I said as it took everything from me to stay confident and calm.

"What do you want?" The cultist asked sternly.

"Nothing really. I just have insomnia so I couldn't sleep. I thought about getting out here and doing something fun," I winked.

I felt so stupid after what I had just said. I never flirted with anyone or even had a boyfriend before. I almost wanted to laugh at myself. I didn't know how to flirt with a man.
