Waking up early in the morning, I sighed in sadness due to the fact that I didn't have enough sleep the previous night. Sally's boyfriend's apartment wasn't big enough like Jason's to fit us all. Jason refused to let us spend the night at his place because he thought that this apartment was much further than his from the city, and safer for us. It was small but nice. A tidy living room and a small clean kitchen. The walls were painted in pale yellow, and a lot of flowers were decorating the place. There were only two tiny beds in the apartment. They didn't even fit two people. I and Sally slept on beds, and our men slept outside on the couches. I stretched my body before going to the kitchen. I couldn't fully wake up until having my favorite cup of coffee.

As I was walking back to the room, I heard Jason talking on the phone by chance. I thought that he was still sleeping. I headed towards the living room to see him.

"Yes, don't worry. I already have our fake passports that we are going to use. I booked our flight tickets to Canada yesterday. We are going to move tonight, so we don't have a lot of time," Jason said to someone through the phone, but he didn't notice my presence as I stood still in the doorway, waiting for him to finish his call.

"All right. Should we meet you today?" He asked.

"Okay, I got it. We will meet you today at your place. Are you sure that it's safe?"

Jason waited for a couple of moments before the other person had answered him. "Done. I hope that nobody sees us there. By the way, we have two girls with us. So prepare your stuff for them," He stated before making a farewell, then hung up.

I knocked on the door as I cleared my throat. He quickly looked back at me over his shoulder, and a wide sweet smile appeared on his angelic face.

"Hey, you're awake," He remarked.

"Yes, I woke up fifteen minutes ago. Who were you talking to?" I asked, stepping closer towards him and sitting on his lap.

He kissed my hair as he moved his hands in circular moves around my thighs.

"It was Jessica. The girl who is going to help us to disguise. We can't go to the airport like this. They will recognize us for sure. A cultist helped me in creating fake passports too. So we are going to change our identities temporarily," Jason explained.

"I'm scared though," I sighed.

He lifted my chin up so that my gaze met his. His eyes were big and so soft on me. As always.

"Why, babe?"

"I don't know. I'm afraid that maybe they will arrest us or something before we escape."

"I planned for everything. We will be careful enough not to fail. I'm here with you," He softly said before brushing his lips against mine.

Oh my God, it was truly fascinating. The kiss was kind and slow, and his lips were kissable. "Can I ask you something?" He asked, pressing his forehead against mine.

"Sure."

"Why do you love me?"

I couldn't get his question. I pulled back for a little bit to be able to see his expression. "What do you mean?"

"I mean ... why didn't you go back to your father when he tried to rescue you? Why did you fall for me that quickly?"

"Why are you asking me this?" I frowned.

"I don't know. I never had a girlfriend before and I can't believe that my first ever girlfriend is you. My enemy's daughter," He shrugged. "And the most beautiful girl in the world too."
