After we both finished the routine, we decided to grab some dinner at a local restaurant.
Unexpectedly, me and hoseok had so much in common. We like to dance, we visit the same restaurant and we have a very similar style to music.
"I'm surprised to see we have so much in common!"Hoseok smiled glowed thought my hazy vision and I slightly chuckled."We're like Romeo and Juliet!"
"Soulmates edition!"I responded, swallowing the amazing chocolate pudding I had ordered."Hoseok lemme ask you something!"
"What is it?"His eyes looking on the plate as he took a mouthful of his steak, now focused on me.
"I know it may be a bit uncomfortable for you to talk about it, but how come you decided to keep dancing after the accident?"I knew deep down it was a sensitive topic but I had to know how he was able to manage his mental health and his life.
Hoseok smile faded away but I was unable to capture it because he was covering it with his hand."It's alright,I know you may be curious cause deep down I'm also surprised by what I'm doing."He admitted while looking at his left leg."You could say you gave me motivation."
"Me?" I pointed at myself, taken aback by his response.
"Aham!"He hummed back and continued,"I really respect you for wanting to dance even if you can't see. It's like you are making the dance become part of your body allowing it to lead you with the sound of the music."He pictured you inside the aquarium, honey brown hair glowing by the faint light of the water, dancing in turns while the red dress flowed inside the water resembling a flower blooming.
"If only I could see it like you do."He found himself wording the words he was thinking but didn't want to be heard."After the accident I was in a very dark place, I didn't want to live nor die. I was staying in my room staring at the ceiling as my life slipped away from my hands."
Hoseok raised his hand and eyed his palms. "Almost as if the color of the world vanished before my eyes, every melody, every color went away and became this dullness. Unable to hear made me feel defeated."
"Hoseok.. I can't believe you felt this way. I'm so sorry to hear that, but at the same time I find it really aspiring that you found some hope with me."I place my hand on top of his and smiled slightly."I know how it feels having the world turned against you, being almost blind is not as easy as it may seems. My mother locked me in my room and didn't allow me to even audition because I was too 'weak' for that.'
Many thoughts wondered in my mind as I pictured Hoseok locked in a cage, chained up with notes flowing outside but unable to understand them. He could see the notes approach him but he could not listen to what they had to say.
"When I first became blind, it was like I was drowning. I had no vision of nothing else but darkness, it was suffocating me but thankfully you made me feel way better by allowing me dance at your studio."A few tears managed to escape from my eyes andfall to my cheeks."Your feelings are very similar to mine so thank you for understanding!"
Hoseok and me, finally finished eating dinner. He insisted to walk me back home but I didn't wanna bother him so I was refusing.
But in the end he managed to convince me by telling me it was very late and I could be robbed or kidnapped.
After a few minutes of catching up with each other lives, we made it to the entrance of my house."This is my house."I pointed high with my steak and closed my eyes.
"Wow... It's like a mansion!" He confessed with his mouth dropping to the ground.
"My mom thought it would be better if we were a bit deserted from other to be safe and to adapt in my new lifestyle easier."I said.
Hoseok felt a small sting in his heart, by hearing what I was saying. A beautiful girl like y/n was unable to do many things because of my eyesight.
It was almost as if I was."A princess"He quickly smacked his mouth closed with his hand and looked at me to see if I had heard him.
"hm?"I titled my head because I was in my own little world, thinking about Hoseok lifestyle.
"Nothing I said Goodnight!"He waved me off.
"Oh goodnight! It was nice hanging out today, let's do this more often!"I waved back and opened the door.
Yeah...
Is all Hoseok could thing as he watched me vanish inside the mansion.
The trail of color vanished the moment I dissapeared from his sight, making him go back in his dark place.
"I wish I wasn't pretending."
