Chapter 6: Rawr means I love you xP

In my room stood my other best friend, Emily. I cant believe that she flew all the way here just to see me. I was beyond happy right now.

"Well?" She said, opening her arms. This may sound girly but I squealed and ran to her, hugging her while we both jumped up and down like nerds. I know, we are cool.

"Erm.. You realize I have school tomorrow right?" I questioned. "You realize I don't care right?" She answered, in her mock tone. I laughed and shook my head.

"Your gonna be all alone till I get home from school but whatever floats your goat. How long are you staying anyway?"

"I can only stay a few days, because I am skipping school t see your ass. Its been so lonely so I had to convince my parents to let me visit. Only gonna stay for like 2 days though.." Emily frowned at the thought.

"Its ok, you can stay in the summer if you want. How have you beeeen?" I said.

"I have been really good, Danny still isn't takin it very well but he has me as company. So he can suck it up. But we both do miss you a lot so I guess the both of us will have to cry a river and beg for you to come back for us and yeah, you?" She pretended to cry, making me laugh a little.

"I miss you guys too, and I wish I could come back. Well I think. I don't know anymore. I met a guy.. And well.. Yeah. We went out on a date tonight actually."

"OMG YOU MUST TELL ME EVERYTHING!" She screeched out of nowhere, making me plug my ears and cringe at the sudden change of volume.

"Merrr! His name is Eric, he is really sweet, he took me out to a movie and dinner now shush you!" I said a little embarrassed.

"Im so happy for you Jenny!" She said whilst doing a little happy dance type thing sending me into a laughing fit.

"There is a spare room in the basement, you can sleep there and let all of the ghosties eat your soul while you sleep" I joked. Emily made a loud gasp while sending a hand to cover to face.

I gave her one last hug, then we both went to sleep, I kind of felt bad for making her sleep alone in the dark, cold, gloomy basement. But she well get over it Im sure.

I checked my phone last night, seeing that I had a text message from Eric.

Goodnight beautiful, see you in the morning c; ~~Eric

I hit sent and let sleep take my body over.

I woke to the sound of an annoying buzzing sound. Realizing it was my alarm clock, I quickly shut it off and slowly rose to my feet, getting a little light headed while stretching.

I made my way to the bathroom, having a quick shower and doing my normal routine, applying a little more makeup than normal.

My outfit for today was grey ripped jeans, my moon choker, and Green Day top.

I made my way to the kitchen, made a pot of tea and a sandwich. I sipped away at my tea and finished my sandwich. My phone then buzzed and I knew it was from. I smiled as I checked Eric's message telling me to come out side.

I grabbed my backpack and found 2 binders and pens so I just tossed them in. I slipped on my black converse and stepped outside while shutting the door behind me. I hope Emily will be ok alone for a few hours. I thought to myself while walking down the path that lead to the driveway where I saw Eric waiting in his car.

I hopped in, throwing my backpack on the ground in front of my feet and smiled at Eric who returned it happily.

We silently drove to Meadow Brook high, my new school, and I started having second thoughts.. I was really nervous.

Once there, Eric parked and we both got out.

"Dont be scared, I am right by your side ok? Lets go to the office and check out what class's you have." I think Eric could tell I was scared out of my mind.

I just nodded, and we walked to the main office. "Erm.. Hi, I am new here and I need my time table.. Please." I managed to ask the older lady sitting behind the desk. "Name?" She asked, while adjusting her glasses. "Jennifer Mathews." She started typing something on her computer, then grabbing a paper that finished printing and handed it to me. I grabbed it and Eric and I walked out.

"Lemme see" Eric pouted while giving me puppy dog eyes. I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help give him a smirk while handing him the paper. "Lucky for you, I have all the same classes girly!" Eric said happily. I wave of relief washed across my face and I jumped for joy.

We made our way to our first period class which was Civics. All of the people we passed gave me a weird look and all the girls were practically drooling over Eric. I have to say I was just a tad bit jealous. Ok that is a bit of an understatement. I was extremely jealous.

I managed to make it through the day. No one said anything to me.. Yet, but I got quite a few looks. I tried to ignore it but it was hard.

Eric drove me home and I went into my room, only to be greeted by Emily who was making herself comfortable on my laptop.
