Chapter 5: Surprise

I woke up, Sunday morning. Well shit. School starts tomorrow and I have no clue what to do with myself right now. I really didn't want to school but its not like I had much of a say in anything anymore.

I got up and started toward my bathroom, getting undressed and turning on the water, adjusting the nobs to my liking. I washed my hair and body.

Once done, I wrapped my hair and body in towels, heading over to my closet. I decided I would wear my Panic! At The Disco sweater that was 2 times my size. I slipped on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and one of my new Batman belts I got the other day.

Not bothering with socks, I walk back into my bathroom, taking my hair out of the towel and started to brush through my long black hair, then blow drying it, then straightened, and styled to my liking. Grabbing my toothbrush, I start to brush my teeth while grabbing my phone. 1 missed text. From... Eric? I opened it and smiled.

Good morning beautiful c: want to hangout today? I can treat you to the mall, dinner and a movie maybe? ~Eric

I would love that, what time do you want to leave?~Jenny

I smile and put my phone back onto the counter. I spit and rinse out my mouth and toothbrush. Once finished, I applied a small amount of makeup and made my way out to the kitchen. My dad wasn't home so I didn't have to worry about talking to anyone. Well except for Eric of course.

I wasn't really hungry, so I skipped breakfast. My phone buzzed and I quickly picked it up, already knowing who it was.

Where do you live?~Eric

I giggled, and sent him my address. I walk back into my room and looked on my dresser, where my dad had left me 50$. I love my dad, so much. Don't get me wrong, its just hard, I would always visit him but I never wanted to leave my mom. She felt like a failure of a parent and this didn't help..

Im outside of your house love~Eric

I smiled at the fact that he called me love. I don't know why, I didn't think i liked him in that way right? I mean.. We just met.

I opened the door only to see the tall, thin figure, all in black like usual standing there leaning on the door frame smiling down at me. I never really took the time to look at his face properly, well I never got the chance. He had a nice chiseled jaw, and bright green eyes. He was so handsome I almost died in his presence.

"Well? Are you finished checking me out?" Eric suddenly said in the middle of laughing at my face that was probably as red as a tomato by now. I pouted and pulled him inside. "You have a nice house" he said in awe. I nodded while putting on my worn out shoes.

He took my hand, leading my out of the house and I felt butterflies and electricity as he made contact with my skin.

In the driveway I saw a decent car, nothing special but I could care less. He walked up to the passenger side, opening the door for me and shutting it when I got in, then headed to the drivers side.

The engine roared to life and he pulled out of the driveway. "Is this like a date Mr. Eric?" I giggled. "It is now beautiful" well I was not expecting that. I kept my head down so he couldn't see my bright red face.

Once at the mall, we just strolled around. A lot of girls gave me weird looks, making me feel uncomfortable, but even worse, I may have been getting jealous because some girl just stopped to introduce herself to Eric. Eric didn't say anything, he grabbed my hands and dragged me away. A wave of relief washed over me, I hoped he would never let go of my hand. What am I saying? We just met.

"Are you excited for school tomorrow?" He suddenly asked. "Well. No. I am actually terrified." I looked down at my shoes. He stopped us and turned to face me. "Don't be, I will pick you up and I will give you a little tour so you wont get lost ok? Plus we might be in some class's which would be fantastic." He smiled at me, pulling me into a tight embrace. It was the best feeling in the world. "I don't even have a back pack though!" I whined playfully. "Well then lets go get you one!" He whined back, causing us to both burst out in laughter.

We went into some random store where I found a decent looking black and red checkered back pack and decided to buy it. We walked over to check out, when Eric grabbed the bag and his wallet. "Wait, no! I have money let me pay for it!" I screeched. "Jenn it is a date! The man always pays for everything on a 'date' beautiful" he smirked. I mean, he had a point. "Besides, all my ladies get a free back pack on the first date!" He winked. Sending me into a laughing fit.

Once bored of the mall, Eric took me to the Pickle Barrel which is REALLY good may I add. And kind of romantic to be honest. I cant lie to myself.

After the dinner, we went to the movie theatre and watched Insurgent, which in fact is my new favourite movie if I do say so myself. And now we were on our way back to my place.

Eric pulled up into the driveway. "I will text you love"

"I will be waiting, and I just wanted to thank you for tonight.. I really like you.." I said shyly.

Out of no where, his firm lips came in contact with mine and sparks were exploding. I now knew that he was my match, the missing puzzle, and I needed him in my life. We pulled away, breathless but smiling like idiots. "See you in the morning beautiful."

I got out if his car, and went inside, only to be greeted by my dad. "Where have you been?"

"Don't worry. I was hanging out with a new friend, sorry I didn't text you.. It wont happen again dad." I was a bit nervous because I didn't wanna get into trouble.

"Its fine don't worry sweetie, I hope you had fun now come, I have a surprise for you." He said while pulling me to my room.

He then left me alone to open the door. I was really confused. I slowly turn the nob on the door and open it.

"Took you long enough" I dropped my phone and screamed.
