Bokuto: AKAAAASHIIIII PLEASEEEEEEEE

Bokuto: PLEASEEEEEEEE IM BEGGINGGGGGGG YOUUUUUU

Akaashi: They're your friends.

Akaashi: They don't know me. It would be awkward

Bokuto: but they know meeeeeee

Akaashi: I'm confused at how that is supposed to help the situation.

Bokuto: they will know i made a new friend and be excited!!!!

Akaashi: I doubt they will be excited. It seems like you make new friends all the time.

Bokuto: they're not friends thooo

Bokuto: more like people I talk to

Bokuto: that never stick around

Bokuto: or have fun

Akaashi: I don't think they would like me bombarding their free time with you.

Bokuto: AAKAAAAASHIIIIIIIII NOOOOO

Bokuto: you're cool and you are my amigo so of course they won't mind you being there

Bokuto: besides if they don't I can rough em up with a mean knuckle sandwich

Akaashi: No.

Bokuto: PLEASEEEEEEEREEEEE

Akaashi: No.

Bokuto: PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Akaashi took a few moments to respond, in the meantime Bokuto kept spamming a bunch of various lengthed "pleases."

Akaashi: I'll think about it. What time and day?

Bokuto: thank you thank you thank you! Akaashiiiiiii

Bokuto: wait hold up, lemme check with the other two.

Akaashi let out an amused snort.

Meanwhile, Bokuto had begun rapid fire questioning Tsuki and Roo.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Akaashi was nervous. He and Bokuto had grown close, sometimes speaking in person when they managed to pass by one another. Sometimes they accidentally coordinated going to grab some last minute groceries.

Bokuto's sign language was getting better day by day, and Akaashi was more comfortable meeting up in person. Over the past month, they had begun playing video games together, communicating through a private chat that Akaashi got to show on the main screen.

It was fun, and Akaashi found himself smiling more often.

But just because he was comfortable around Bokuto, didn't mean he wasn't still socially anxious. If he did manage to go hang out with Bokuto's other friends, he at least knew the golden-eyed teen would talk to him and make him not feel left out.

Especially since he is deaf.

But he didn't think Bokuto had thought that through…

It wasn't the first time Bokuto had spoken about Kuroo and Tsukishima, in fact he spoke fairly often of a few close friends.

Each seemed interesting. Each seemed extroverted.

Akaashi didn't know how to feel about that whatsoever.

Bokuto: they said this Saturday around noon

Bokuto: is that good?

Akaashi stared at the texts for a moment, thinking hard. Did he want to go? It would be nice to make new friends…but at the same time it would be stressful…

Out of the corner of his eye, Akaashi saw his door open a crack. His mom was silently asking for entrance.

Akaashi: One second, my mom needs something.

Without waiting for a reply, he quickly turns off his phone and gets up to see what his mom wants.

He would think about the hangout later.
