A Person of the Past (A Bones FanFic)

The Breakdown.

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I had to pass all of my regents before I could go on.                                                             

All Temperance could remember was security guards scrambling and the color black.
Waiting room
Booth sat in the waiting room, with hysteria filling his eyes. He didn't know who would hurt his wife. Again. She had already been shot, why did she have to go through it again. Angela, Hodgins , Sweets, the whole gang was filling the waiting room. Angela was crying in hysterics with Hodgins trying to console her but it didn't work. But the worst of everyone was Booth. His eyes bright red and blood shot. He couldn't stop crying. The woman he loves is hanging to life by a thread. Again. He couldn't get over this. And never will.

Brennan's POV

Where the hell am I? Brennan thought. Then she saw who she never imagined she would see again.

"Mom?"

"Sweetheart, nice to see you again." Brennan and Christine hug for another time. And wouldn't be the last time. They both sit down on the horrible bouquet floral couch.

"Mom not that I didn't want to see you but i never wanted to see you in these circumstances ever again."

"You think I did? But It throws you for a loop."

Operation room

"Shes flat-lining" says the nurse

"CHARGE"
(Brennan's monitor still flat-lining)
"AGAIN!!! CHARGING"

The sound of steady beeping fills the room.

"Now only if we could find the damn bullet."

Waiting room

"Where the hell is the doctor" The agitated Booth says. As if on cue the doctor come in with the news

"Doc how is she?"

"Shes still critical the bullet hit her rib and almost punctured her lung, she's not out of the woods yet but have hope."

Booth being pissed off that his wife, lover, best friend might not make it punched a gaping hole in the wall and said to the doctor " You better save her." And ran off to the hospital chapel to pray for his Bones to not give up on him, he doesn't know if he could go on without her. Actually he knows he can't. But one thing he did know was he was going to find who did this even if he had to go to hell and back.
