-Jammie before she walked into the room-
It was pitch black. I couldn't see anything.
"What's going on, is anyone there?" As I said the words I hear cheering and clapping. It started to get bright, and brighter every second then I saw it. I was in a arena. I look at the door that people would come out of. I then looked at the other side of me. I saw Vi and her family.
"I'm not going to fight you" I knew what they were here to do but I wasn't going to fight them; in the little time I've known them, they've become my family.
"To bad." They all said in a robotic voice and then pounced on me. I opened my eyes and I was in this slime like water. It wasn't as dark as the arena but still dark. I was floating in it, it felt so lonely, but there was someone here I knew it then I felt it. I gasped from the sudden pain, trying to get air but all my lungs got was slime filled, I look at where the pain came from. There was a hand right inside me, as I was looking behind me to see who it was I jolted up breathing heavily.
'it was just a dream' I told myself in my head.
-after they left the room-
Doctor Smith approached me as he left the room. He had been a friend of mine every since the age of ten ,I was now fifteen, he always had my back weather I was wrong or not and I was so happy to have a friend like him.
"You didn't tell her?" He said which confused me. I asked what he meant which he returned with a sigh.
"Don't act stupid. You haven't told her that you are a newman have you?" I froze. I felt I wasn't able to move. Of course I hadn't she would have thrown me out like a old rag if she found out what did he expect. I looked down our people are suppose to be proud of who we are, but me I'm not I wish I had been born as something else but no I have to be a newmen.
He nodded and left me. I just stood there not knowing weather I'd be able to move. After what was an entirely to long ,but was really probably only 10 minutes, I started to move to me room.
'what would happen if she did know about me' I didn't even want to think about it.
