Daisys origin!

A/N so the background in case you didn't know is daisy is nick + Charlie's dog sometime in the future, that was introduced in a mini comic. I have no idea how much of this is going to be true, it's just a ff.

——SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE——-

Charlie's perspective
I scroll through insta in me and nicks bedroom when suddenly he barges in from the living room and says "DID YOU SEE TARAS POST?". "Uhh no, it has not popped up on my feed yet, why?", I reply. He shows me that Tara and Darcy's dog had just had like 7 babies and they need homes. "AW OMG THEY ARE SO CUTEEE", I say my heart melting. I thought this moment could get any cuter, but then I look and see Nick practically leaping with joy and cuteness overload and the last of my melted heart turns into the wicked witch of the west. "So... CAN WE GET ONE!? Pleaseeeee🥺" he says sith those big adorable eyes. I laugh. "Nick... of absolute course! We have been wanting a dog for so long! Let's go pick them up." Nick squeals with joy as we hop in the car and head to Tara and Darcy's apartment. When we get there, nick immediately starts crawling on the floor with the puppies.... and Darcy. They coo, and aww at all of them and me and Tara sit with them and laugh. "Our golden retrievers", Tara says smiling. "For real.", I reply. It's true, but also the puppies are golden retrievers. Nick and I play with puppy after puppy, until we find the right one. From the moment we saw her, we just knew it was her. All of the other puppies frantically ran around, and she did too until she saw us sit down and layer in nicks lap and shut her eyes for a little nap. Wow. She couldn't be more perfect for us. Even the girls thought so too.Nick ended up gently bringing her to the couch with out waking her up and laid her tiny self on his chest for a nap, where they spent the next hour bonding together in their dreams. I guess they were both tired from all that playing. Tara, Darcy, and I chatted while the golden retriever's were golden retrievering, and when they woke up we went to the car and headed to PetCo.

Nicks perspective
The whole time we were driving to the pet store to get supplies, we are thinking of names for her but we couldn't come up with any we loved. We got her a leash and food, toys, training pads, poop bags, teething stuff, a bed, a crate,collar, harness, etc. (I have a dog if you couldn't tell lol.) We still couldn't come up with a name! She refused to pee though, so we sit her in the car and she starts whimpering so we pull over and take her to a nearby field to take a quick pee. When she's done, she starts pulling the leash toward something. That's when we see a singular Daisy flower, in a field of dandelions. (Wishing on every one that you'd be miiiineeee) That's when it hit us. Daisy. Me and Charlie look at each other and we didn't even have to say anything because we just knew. We get back home and set up the stuff for her and stuff (💀) and we are so tired so me and Charlie head to the couch for some cuddles and tv. We are cuddling close, and suddenly we feel tiny pressure being added to our bodies. Daisy climbs across us, lays down right on Charlies leg, and looks so comfy I think I'm gonna die of cuteness overload. Char noticed my mood and laughs and kisses me. "We made the right decision", he says moving closer but careful not to move Daisy. "Yeah definitely",I reply. And that's the truth.
