I never knew why you
Always chose the zoo
But now I can see
Just why so clearly

You can feel the same
But a different way
Trapped in a cage
Like there's no escape

You want to expand
And get out of this prison
But the only thing missing
Is your inhibition

Blame it on mom
And blame it on dad
But when you grow up
You'll see its a fad

Just a phase you might say
Of your own stubborn nature
You want to be strong
But that's the tip of the glacier

You have to work hard
To reach better things
When you get out of this town
And go spread your wings

You're a woman now though,
You're free.
