I never knew why you
Always chose the zoo
But now I can see
Just why so clearlyYou can feel the same
But a different way
Trapped in a cage
Like there's no escapeYou want to expand
And get out of this prison
But the only thing missing
Is your inhibitionBlame it on mom
And blame it on dad
But when you grow up
You'll see its a fadJust a phase you might say
Of your own stubborn nature
You want to be strong
But that's the tip of the glacierYou have to work hard
To reach better things
When you get out of this town
And go spread your wingsYou're a woman now though,
You're free.-Navy Boy

Poems From A Navy Boy
PoetryA collection of poems from a good friend of mine in the navy. They range quite dramatically. - He also has no clue that I'm putting them on here, so for the sake of being anonymous, the credit will just go to Navy Boy.
