Today shall be the greatest day ever.

The sun was coming out of its hiding place. Warm, soft tendrils light up the trees surrounding the manor with birds chiming in melodically. No clouds hide its warm shine, while a mild breeze ruffles the green leaves on trees.

The perfect weather.

Raon was wide awake.

His cute, blue eyes held a shiny tint as he almost couldn't contain his excitement. A twitching tail and fluttering wings showcase his anticipation.

Today was the day!

His human was still sleeping and no matter how creative he got, Cale stayed dead to the world. But that is fine.

Raon will first get his breakfast from nice Beacrox, who certainly, contrary to his lazy human, will be awake.

On his way towards the kitchen, Raon came across Ron and Hans. Both were up and about. He excitedly flew towards them and greeted them with enthusiasm.

Ron smiled his usual smile, while Hans almost tripped over air. Raon found it weird, but his focus was somewhere else. With his head held high he waited for them to greet him as well.

"Good morning.", the older butler professionally caught the falling vase that the other butler almost dropped. Hans took back the vase, greeted Raon briefly and excused himself.

The little dragon couldn't believe the actions of the cat-crazy Hans. His wide eyes stared at Ron. The old assassin smiled and excused himself as well. While walking away, he mentioned that Beacrox is busy with organizing some newly arrived ingredients and has no time for Raon. He should come later.

Raon sadly stared at the departing back of Ron.

Motivating himself again, the little dragon chose a new destination. If nice Beacrox has no time for him, the Raon also doesn't want to play with the chef.

Serves him right.

Strong Choi Han should be up and practicing his swordsmanship at the outdoor training ground. The swordmaster certainly won't disappoint Raon.

Flying through the hallways, Raon observed the signs they left at the manor. This is their home. Some portraits were painted after the war was finished. They have pictures captured by a fancy mana recording device, but those aren't display in the hallway.

One of the portraits is Cale with his three kids.

Cale sat lazily on a comfortable looking chair with On and Hong in their human form on both of his sides. On wore a pretty yellow dress that complimented her eyes, while Hong was dressed in a miniature version of Cale's dress clothes. Nothing too fancy, but also not too casual as well.

Sitting contently on Cale's lap was Raon himself. His scales were polished to perfection and his blue eyes stare happily at the painter.

The portrait was hanged at the center of the hall, where any visitor will be able to gaze upon his awesome family.

Raon loved the hall before the staircase. All his family members had at least on portrait hanging. Some, like the crazy Clopeh, even sneaked their own portrait in. It became a game of the others to sneak in as many possible pictures of them until Cale notices and disposes of them.

Raon is sure that his human already knows, but acts like he didn't find out.

Over fifty portraits cover the walls of the hall. Holding back a giggle the little dragon left the underground manor and arrived at the training ground.

It was surprisingly empty.

Normally Choi Han and the wolf children would be training here. Vice-captain Hilsman was absent as well.
