Heeseung as expected had a bad day- no he had a bad week. He didn't speak to anyone, he barely responded to text messages, and he wasn't himself anymore.

He felt like the whole world collapsed in front of him and it did his whole world was Sunoo. That day when he saw him cry and when he confessed he promised that he won't hurt him again.

He did see Sunghoon a couple of times, but when he would approach him he would say that he was busy. He tried to talk to Ni-Ki as well, but he couldn't find him anywhere.

Why is my life so fricking hard? I didn't speak for an entire week and then when I finally speak up everyone is busy or just disappearing like ghosts...

Heeseung sighed as he decided to not do anything for now. He didn't and well- according to Heeseung- he couldn't talk to Sunoo especially when he found out that he has a crush on him.

He tried his best to ignore him, but couldn't. When he would see Sunoo smile, he would feel a tiny bit better knowing that Sunoo is doing fine, though his gut was telling him otherwise. He sensed that Sunoo was only trying his best to be as cheerful and cute as he has always been.

Maybe, we truly are not meant to be.

"If we were..." Heeseung sighed. "We would've held hands and laughed at how dumb we were before..." Heeseung mumbled to himself until he heard a familiar voice calling him. "Heeseung hyung?" Jay glanced at him as he came closer. "Are you okay...?" Jay glanced at him already concerned while Heeseung glanced back at him.

"I am not okay, Jay-ah..." Heeseung sighed. Jay slowly patted his shoulder. "We can talk about it if you want to..." Jay softly smiled at him. "Thanks, Jongseong-ah..." Heeseung smiled back at him.

After school Heeseung went with Jay to his house. Heeseung didn't know that Jay would be the first one to ask him anything, but after he confessed to Jungwon and got rejected by him it must have been painful to him and Heeseung knew that he didn't need his gut to tell him that.

"Whenever you're ready hyung, I'll wait." Jay chuckled. "Thank you Jongseong-ah..." Heeseung sighed. "It must've been hard for you and I am deeply sorry for not comforting you before..." Heeseung sighed.

"No worries, Jake helped me a lot when he first came here..." Jay shrugged. "He comforted me a lot and made me feel better about myself..." Jay smiled. "Now, will you please tell me why are you all gloomy this whole week hyung?"

Heeseung shrugged. "Uh, well Sunoo confessed and that happened last week, and I-" Heeseung was interrupted by Jay. "Wait, hyung-" Jay glanced at him still shocked. "Don't you like him back though?" Jay asked a bit surprised still.

Heeseung could only nod in response. "Then, why are you all gloomy for aren't you supposed to be happy about it?" Jay asked as he glanced at him kind of feeling sad already. Heeseung sighed.

"It's not that easy Jay-ah..." Heeseung glanced at him. "What do you mean hyung?" Jay sighed as he shrugged. "We are not meant to be, it is written in the cards..."

Jay glared at him. "Hyung, I am sorry to tell you this, but it's not all written in those damn cards of yours." Jay declared. Heeseung widened his eyes at that.

"What do you mean-" Heeseung was once again interrupted by Jay. "Look, hyung if you can't accept that you like him and believe that God knows who is going to be with him, then you truly don't deserve him and you two are probably not meant to be." Jay sighed.

"I know that your father doesn't accept the LGBTQ+ community and that you are struggling with that a lot lately, but if you love him enough you wouldn't doubt your feelings over some cards that might not be even true." Jay glanced at him with a blank expression on his face. "I am sorry hyung, but it's just how it is..."

But-

My cards were the only way to help people...

"Jay-ah, but-" Heeseung sighed. "No, buts even at lunch there was this tension between the two of you..." Jay sighed. "And, out of nowhere you were just gone and it was suspicious to us hyung..." Jay sighed. "We care for you, Sunoo does too, but it's your decision on what you'll do..."

Heeseung felt tears falling as he listened to Jay. "I know, that you strongly believe in destiny and all that-" Jay glanced at him as he bit his lip. "But, hyung even if you two break up after a few years and you find someone new, at least you were happy until it lasted."

"You're right Jay-ah..." Heeseung said as he wiped his tears. "It was the same for me, we need to experience something in life, we can't hide from it forever..." Jay said as he hugged Heeseung who gladly hugged him back.

Thank you, Jay-ah that's all I needed to hear...
