"I don't believe you." The stupidest lines in the world came out of Nathan's mouth.
Seriously?
He actually just said that?
"Stupid earthling." Chaos muttered.
"Did you say something?" Nathan was curious.
"Yes." I could tell Chaos was smirking under his hood.
"Play nice!" I stared at Chaos. "I know you like to act like a five year old, Dad, but just grow up for a little while?"
"Dad?" Nathan's head snapped in my direction.
"I'm adopted." I said coolly.
"Who is your real father then, Omega?" Chiron said behind me.
"Sorry, but I would rather not say. We had a slight disagreement not too long ago and he would probably start going mental." I lied quickly. The real reason is because too many people will be able to guess and plus, Poseidon stood a few feet away from me.
"That is regrettable." Nathan said with no sympathy.
"MRS. O'LEARY!!!" I heard a voice scream, before I heard paws thundering.
Then the name registered in my head.
Styx.
I'm dead.
A hellhound the size of a garbage truck thundered in view. Mrs. O'Leary, my pet hellhound from five years ago. And judging by the fact she was running towards me, she knew who I was.
Great.
Brilliant.
I behave perfectly, I don't threaten or injure any gods, and now my identity will be revealed because of my pet.
I looked around for Hades, but he had his back to me and was talking to Zeus. And judging by Zeus' face and hand gestures, they were arguing.
"MRS. O'LEARY...COME HERE!" The voice yelled as Mrs. O'Leary came closer.
Hades was arguing with Zeus, Chaos stood next to them, an amused smirk on his face.
Nico was definitely the one chasing Mrs. O'Leary, which meant he'd be of no help because she clearly wasn't listening to him.
Hazel was...
I had no idea where Hazel was.
Bianca.
I spun around and looked at the Warriors desperately.
"Angel!!" I caught her attention and pointed at Mrs. O'Leary.
She nodded and ran forward. "Shhh... you're sleepy...aren't you Mrs. O'Leary?" She said to the massive hellhound who had stopped in front of her. "Why don't you have a little sleep?" she said, using a tone in her voice that we had found to be able to control hellhounds. The dog suddenly flopped to the floor, snoring like a jackhammer that was on.
"Thanks Angel." I grinned at her. "You're my guardian angel."
"Shut it Commander." She shoved me slightly as she walked past me to stand with Silena and Zoe.
Just then, Nico appeared. I smiled at the sight of him. He was definitely older, but I could tell it was him straight away. He had changed; his black hair looked like it had been straightened unlike five years ago, when it had been slightly curly. His eyes were the color of obsidian, slightly darker than they used to be and he was now my height. He was wearing black skinny jeans, t shirt, red hoodie and scruffy, well worn black converse that looked strangely similar and his Stygian iron sword hung by his side. Plus his skin that had been paler than paper, had a slight tan to it. All in all, I would actually mistake him for being in a boyband if I didn't know any better.
"It's Nico." Bianca whispered.
"I'm guessing you want to give him a hug?" I grinned as she came and stood by again. "Reveal your identity?"
"Do you reckon they'll figure it out?" She asked.
"Hades maybe, Nico probably not. He is smart but well... I think he lost a few brain cells when he joined a boyband." I chuckled.
"What do you mean joined a boy- Oh." Bianca got a proper look at him.
"See, he looks like he should be in a boyband." I bit back a wave of laughter.
"Be nice!" Bianca hit me. "It's true though." She added, nodding.
"Dad?" Nico said when his father and the other Olympians appeared.
"Hey kiddo." Hades went and hugged him.
"Did Hades just call Nico 'kiddo'?" I asked Bianca.
"Apparently." Bianca nodded.
"How did you stop Mrs O'Leary?" Nico asked Hades, looking rather puzzled.
"It wasn't me." Hades frowned and looked at me.
"And that's your cue." I pushed Bianca forward. "Hades, Mr. di Angelo. This is one of my soldiers. She's a daughter of Hades." I introduced them. "She stopped a certain Mrs O'Leary from running into the army."
"You just called me Mr. di Angelo." Nico stared at me.
"So I did." I pretended to only just notice.
"How did you know my name?" Nico asked. "And it's Nico, not Mr. di Angelo. Makes me sound old."
"You're older than when I last met you so you needed a name to make your sound older because I'm not used to seeing you as a seventeen year old." The words fell out of my mouth before I could stop them.
"We've met?" Nico frowned.
"Long time ago." I nodded, trying to think of a decent excuse. "Very long time ago."
"I don't remember meeting you." Nico still had a frown on his face.
"Ouch, I'm hurt." I answered, sounding ever so sad.
"I'm sure you are." Nico nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his face. "But seriously, when and where did I meet you."
"Knowing Camp traditions, there will be a Capture the Flag match soon. I'll meet with you afterwards and speak with you then." I smiled at him.
"Ok." Nico nodded before turning his attention onto Bianca. "So you're like my half-sister then?"
"Nope." She shook her head.
"What?" Nico frowned. "You're a Daughter of Hades, we've established that, so you're my half-sister."
"Actually..." Bianca shuffled her feet nervously. "I'm more like your full sister."
She pushed her hood back and took the mask off her face.
Nico stared in shock for a moment before wrapping his arms around her, muttering the words "I don't believe it. How? You're alive!" over and over.
"Hi Nico." She grinned at me when he released her.
Hades had been standing there the entire time, looking stunned, "You're alive!" He repeated a few time before pulling his two children for a hug.
Sure he let the spirits out the Underworld, but he never checks the list...
