**Percy**

I trudged to the borders and surveyed the camp for the last time. I wasn't planning on seeing it again. I placed my hand on Thalia's tree and muttered "Goodbye" before stepping over the border, Peleus the Dragon snorted in his sleep. I'd miss the dragon. He always gave me a fond greeting when I returned to camp. This would be the last time I'll ever see him.

Without a second thought, I continued to walk. I had no idea where to go. I know mom and Paul would want to know I was safe, but I couldn't risk it. That would be the first place they would look. If they even bothered.

I really hoped they didn't look. I didn't want to be found, I just want to escape, get away. Maybe I'll head to Alaska, the land beyond the gods.

Suddenly, there was a flash of bright light, accompanied by a rumble of thunder.

"What in Hades?" I grumbled, rubbing my eyes, as the light had left dark spots in my eyes, my vision obscured momentarily.

As the spots had almost faded, there was yet another flash, this one accompanied by the sound of breaking bones.

"Seriously?" I said loudly, rubbing my eyes yet again.

"Perseus." Two voices spoke, my vivion clearing instantly.

"Uncle? Wait...Uncles?" I questioned Zeus and Hades, who were standing before me.

Zeus sighed and scowled at the ground before looking at me, a expression of pure distate on his face. He never has liked me. Always been fond of the 'killing me' option he tried to have a vote on every Sostice. I think I'd have to save Olympus a million times before he would begin to like me.

"What is going on?" I asked, ignoring Zeus' expression.

"You need to do us a favor Percy." Hades got straight to the point, sounding extremely bored.

"Why would I do you a favor?" I snapped.

"Because you have nothing left." Hades hit me right where it hurts.

My expression darkened. "I'm aware of that fact. You didn't need to remind me."

"I was stating a simple fact that we all know to be true." Hades merely shrugged. "You've lost everything Jackson. We can give you something back."

"Lord Chaos needs an army." Zeus sighed. "Why he wants you, I don't know. Must like the outcasts."

"Now now Zeus, there's no need to be nasty." A voice chuckled.

I pulled Riptide out, and looked around for the source of the voice.

"You can come out now." Zeus looked and sounded bored.

"You ruin everything." A man's outline started to form the darkness sorrounding us.

w"I know. I do, don't I. You must blame my wife for that. I've gotten that habit from her." Zeus snapped sarcastically.

"Should you be speaking like that to Chaos. The dude who created the universe?" I pointed out.

"Nobody asked for your opinion jackson." Zeus answered coldy.

"He does have a point though." Hades pointed out to his brother.

"Well I'm heading home. You can explain everything to your favorite nephew." Zeus disappeared with a huge flash and a rumblr of thunder.

"I knew I should've made him God of Theatre. He's always had a flair for theatrics." Chaos mused. "Anyway, back to the task in hand. Join me Perseus. You may not get this life back." He gestured around us. "But you'll get another."

I lookeed at him warily. "How can I trust you?"

"Put your trust issues asaid and think of the gods you actually trust." Chaos smiled kindly.

"None." I shook my head. "I cannot trust any of them . Apollo maybe, he always helped and never sought to destory me. Poseidon, I could trust once upon a time, but I cannot anymore. Hades here, I'm always wary of. I'd like to think I can, but I'm unsure. I can't trust Zeus further than I can throw him. Ares? Big no-no. Hermes is a possiblity. Aphrodite is a no. Hephaestus maybe. "

"RIght, stop listing gods." Chaos interrupted me before I could continue. "How about Hera though?"

I laughed. "She sent cows after my former girlfriend, she dropeed a stone statue on the legs of a close friend. She stole 8 months of my life because she wanted me and Jason to swap camps. I probabaly wouldn't mind that much, but eight months. My friends and family had no idea, most people thought I was most likely dead. Oh and let's add to the collection of 'hating Hera': She almsot killed Jason by turning into her true from. If Piper hadn't been able to charmspeak back to life, the whole swap of leaders thing would've been ruined. As well as the Prophecy of the Seven. And Hera messed around with Leo's life when he was little too. She made him cut up chilli peppers, she left him in the fireplace to sleep, she made him sear his handprints into a picnic table. She probably did much more, but Leo never likes speaking of his childhood. Oh and Hera stole Jason away from his family when he was little. Thalia thought her brother was dead. Jason didn't even know he had a sister. Oh and-"

"Alright, definitely not trusting Hera." Chaos cut me off before I could continue. "Is there anyone you can truly trust?"

"Nico di Angelo." I said confidently.

"You trust my son?" Hades looked proud.

"Yes'' I nodded.

"Well you can trust me like you trust Nico di Angelo. I'll try to never le harm befall you, I'll treat you like my little brother. Say the word and I'll let you go home." Chaos said haughtly.

I nodded slowly. "As long as I get off Earth."

Chaos nodded, a gleam in his eye. "You'll be a long way from Earth..."
