That Night

Still Kakucho POV

Hanma opens the door and walks in first the last to walk in was Sanzu with Takemichi still asleep in his arms.

"Oh, then where is he?"

I see Inupi come from the back of the abandoned warehouse.

"He's right here. Sanzu's carrying him."

I gesture towards Sanzu who has taken Takemichi to the couch.

"Hm?"

Inupi looks behind him and sees Sanzu putting someone down on the couch. He walks over and immediately looked back up when he saw his face.

"Hey! Quit joking are you serious?!"

Inupi keeps on looking back and forth between me and Takemichi.

"As serious as we could be we saw him in action too."

Inupi sighs and holds his head with his other hand on his hip.

"We couldn't believe it either I'm still wondering on whether or not what we had seen was an illusion or something."

"Where are the others?"

Inupi looks at Ran and says,

"Rindou is upstairs working trying to find other incidents to clean up with Kazutora, Koko and Taiju are cleaning up a fight right now."

"Well tell them to come back quickly for an emergency meeting." Ran said sitting on one of the other couches.

"Don't order me around besides I was already going to do that." 

Time skip to when everyone is there

"So where is this guy?" Taiju and Koko finally come back after 20 minutes.

"He's on the couch." Kazutora looks up from his phone.

"You're joking right."

Taiju starts looking at us for answers.

"You don't mean to say that's the so-called 'Wanderer'

"Yup, that's him," I said.

"You're joking." Koko looked at me skeptically.

I was about to answer when Sanzu answered for me.

"Do you think we'd joke about something like this?"

They didn't answer and there was an awkward silence until Kazutora broke it.

"Let's just get started with the meeting, what are we going to do about him?"

"Yeah, we were looking for him, but we never really discussed what we were going to do with him after we found him."

We all turned to look at Takemichi who was still sleeping on the couch.

"King."

"Hm?"

I turned to look at Sanzu.

"We'll make him our king."

We all stared at Sanzu shocked.

"We'll make a gang with him as our leader."

"And if he refuses," Rin questioned.

"He won't."

We all turn to look at Hanma who's now smiling slyly.

"And why do you think that?" Rin shot back.

"He abandoned his friends he doesn't have anyone else to rely on."

"So you think that he'll use this as an opportunity to latch on to someone?" Ran said.

"Bingo!"

"But we don't even know why he left his Toman and has been wandering around like this for all we know Hanagaki might not want to be surrounded by people at all."

"Koko's right, but Takemichi isn't the type of person who likes to be alone so that can't be the reason," I answered.

I've known Takemichi since I was a kid even if I wasn't with him for part of his life he hadn't changed much from back then, so I'm certain that that wasn't the reason.

"Then we'll ask him, and fix the problem ourselves." Sanzu states, he's still staring at Takemichi I don't think he's looked away this entire time.

"And if we can't-"

Sanzu cuts Rindou off.

"Look we'll worry about that when the problem arises alright."

"Geez, Rin you're being just about as annoying as Ran right now." Inupi sighs shaking his head.

"Hey what's that supposed to mean?" Ran argues.

"I agree with Inupi I think he's been rubbing off on you too much." 

Kazutora looks at Rindou with concern.

"Oh god you guys are right I should probably stop spending so much time with him."

Rinodou puts his hand on his cheek and shakes his head. Ran started to get even more annoyed and soon enough they started bickering.

"Taiju you've been strangely quiet about all this," Hanma said.

But he wasn't wrong Taiju isn't the type to stay quiet about these types of things. First, he doesn't like having to follow other people his pride wouldn't allow that. Secondly, the fact that it was Takemichi the one who took his place as the leader of the Black Dragons would make you think that he would persistently oppose this idea.

"Well, Takemichi seems to have changed a bit. I'll have to see how he behaves when he wakes up, then that'll be how I judge if I want to go along with this or not."

"So you just want to see if it'll be interesting to go along with this?" I ask.

"That and if he's worthy enough to lead us."

"Well, we can certainly vouch for his fighting skills you should've seen him." 

It seemed like Ran and others had finally stopped playing around and were focusing on the subject at hand again.

"But I do have to agree with Taiju on this though I mean he's gonna have to deal with people like us if he's going to do this." 

"Yeah and that can be pretty stressful, especially with someone like Ran."

Rindou and Kazutora were immediately back to throwing insults at Ran. Although I'm pretty sure everyone here was silently agreeing. We were a bit of a handful and could be rather destructive and/or annoying.

But if there was anything we were wrong about that night it would be of who would be taking care of who.
