I woke up to a massive hangover, I should never go partying with Kayla ever again. I say that every time, but I still party with her. I guess it's just fun to get hammered on Friday nights with her. I looked to my bedside table, how sweet, she left me Advil and a note:

"Look alive sunshine! Call me when you get up, I have news.
XOXO, Kayla <3"

What did she do? I don't even know, so I picked up my phone to call her. It rang twice before she picked up.

"Hey Jade!" She said with excitement, does this girl EVER get a hangover?
"Hey Kayla," I slurred.
"You'll never guess what I did for you!"
"What chaos are you causing today?"
"Oh nothing...... I just entered you in a contest to win guitar lessons."
"Sweet! Are they gonna be at that new studio in downtown San Diego?"
"No......their going to be with Tony Perry."
"Excuse me bitch WHATTTT!" I jumped out of bed and put my phone on speaker so I could talk to her while I got dressed.

"Whoop, there it is" she muttered.

I pulled on my nearest band tee, huh, today's a green day kinda day, I thought to myself. I also grabbed my favorite, lucky skinny jeans. "I can't BELIEVE you! Are you kidding me! Oh my god I'm going to be at your house in five minutes!" I hung up and ran down the stairs, grabbing my purse and keys along the way. I hopped into the car and sped towards her house, going 20 mph over the speed limit.

Once I arrived at her house, I walked up to the door and let myself in. "KAYLA MARIE I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOUR'E LYING" I shouted, forgetting about my hangover.

"Nope! Come on! Their announcing the winners in five minutes!"

I darted up her stairs and into her room, being exposed to my best friend in her pajamas with her laptop open in front of her. "I hate you, but if I win, I love you!"

"SHUT IT, they're about to announce who the winner is." She stated matter-o-factly.

Within a matter if seconds, my gorgeous Tony Turtle walked onto the stage and up to the microphone. I crossed my fingers and started praying to every god in the sky.

"And the winner is," he moved to open the envelope in his hands, he looked at it a second and said"Jade Richardson!" He said with that gorgeous smile.

"OH MY GOD JADE YOU WON IM CALLING THE PRESIDENT!" Kayla screamed while doing her victory dance.

I sat there in shock, all my dreams were coming true.
