Blakey 😘💘 5 minutes ago
Hey boo, what's up?
Slide to reply

I looked down at my phone smiling as Blake's name popped up. I slid my finger across the screen and quickly typed up a response.

Nothing really. I'm kinda bored but how are you?

Blakey 😘💘 now
I'm alright and good because I'll be over in five. 😁

I shook my head smiling thinking about how spontaneous Blake is and how I secretly wished he was my spontaneous boyfriend instead of his bitch, Sarah.

Yes I was insanely jealous of her, and she fully knew it. Blake being completely oblivious to our furtive competition had no idea of my obvious feelings. It's kinda hard to erase them since they've been around for about two years.

Sarah has only been in the picture a few months and immediately she knew I liked him. So what did she do about me? She tried to cut off pretty much any type of communication we have. Blake didn't let that shit fly, thank God. But she does limit how much time he gets to go out not only with me, but with his boys too and not to mention, she constantly monitors our text messages. I feel so bad for him being so damn whipped.

I already know she's going to give him hell for calling me boo even though he's always called me that long before her hoein' ass ever came around. I despise of her so much, it's unreal. I shook my head realizing I've spent five minutes thinking about her dumb ass before I quickly typed up a reply.

Okay, I'll see you then.

Just as I sent the message, I heard a faint knock at the door along with Blake walking through. "Hello? Where's my home girl at?" He giggled as he shut the door with his foot. "Over here you fool!" I shouted across the living room.

He walked in and set down a shit ton of candy, sodas, and a family size pizza from Round Table. "Damn, I guess you weren't playing around when you said you pig out during off season!" I laughed.

He chuckled and plopped down incredibly close to me. "Chantel come on now, you know I don't play around girl! A man's gotta eat!" I felt his arm rub up against my leg and he just brushed it off as it were nothing.

It was quiet before he spoke again. "Sooooo, you wanna 'watch Netflix and chill'?" He put his fingers up; air quoting while giggling and bumping into me repeatedly. I rolled my eyes before laughing and lightly pushing him away from me. "Boy if you don't get! You're a mess!" He continued to laugh until he looked at me and all the emotion in his face disappeared.

He bit down on the corner of his lip and stared into my eyes with an unreadable expression. I nervously looked away and proceeded to turn on my Xbox 360. "Besides, ya girl Sarah wouldn't be liking that, huh? Speaking of her, how the hell did she let you out the cage?" I could tell he was still staring at me. "I 'went to DJ's for a one on one because we made a bet'."

"And she believed that?" I grew the courage to look back at him. He nodded his head and bit down more on his lip. I inhaled a sharp breath before standing and walking over to put in a movie. I knelt down and picked up a few. "Ride Along, The Purge, or All Dogs Go To Heaven 2?" I asked.

I didn't get a response so I turned my head only to see that he was towering over me. He knelt down beside me and took All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 from my hands. "Here, let me do it." He stared into my soul the whole time before I stood and returned back to the couch.

'Okay, this is different. Why is this so different? What do I do? Oh God what do I do?'

I thought to myself as he returned to his spot, sitting as close to me as possible. As the movie started, he was more into the movie than into me, which I was glad because it was kind of awkward earlier. Just as Charlie was about to kiss Sasha, Blake looked down at me and smiled. I returned the smile and my gaze back to the tv.
