This was it, the final place to liberate the island, DoU, or rather the Department of Utilities, most people call it a nuke silo, since it contains one. I look over the window and see everyone mobilizing, they were ready. All civilians were evacuated to safety outside this place.
Commander: Our final mission..
Stennis: Yeah yeah, I know.
Commander: How do you feel?
Stennis: It's like we've won by this point, we crippled them to the point they resorted to hiding.
Commander: True, true.
Enty: So we capture it, that's the plan, right?
Bunker Hill: More of taking the place as ours.
Essex: If all goes to plan then we are done with another conflict!
Hornet: Not a conflict but more of...support?
Stennis: Sing this anthem, bring it to the skies. We shall be victorious tonight...
Maryland: Hm?
Stennis: But look for light at the end, and you will find your fate...
Stennis: Now sing the anthem proud, for everyone to hear!
I grab the ACR, 300 reserve, 30 in the chamber, got an MP7 and a VANT shield from the quarry. I barge through the door and see a katana here...hmm, might take it.
Izumo: I might as well take my- WHERE DID IT GO?!
Akagi: What happened?
Izumo: MY KATANA IS GONE-
Stennis: I have it, need it for something.
I run down the stairs full speed, and join the forces. Tanks roll out, helicopters fly, you name it, we went full force. I was the gunner of a blackhawk , another joined in with us.

Once we arrived, it was a fierce battle, the air support was going, but heli's were being shot out one by one, and I was one of em. The engine was hit, and so was our pilot, one of the operatives tried reaching for the controls but we already hit the ground. Me, the same guy who tried regaining control, and the other gunner survived, can't say the same for the others.
Operative: You okay?
Stennis: Yeah... cough
Stennis: Come on let's get out of here..
Gunner: Alright!
However, the doors were shut, the glass was shattered, so it was unsafe.
Valiant: Where is Stenni-
Stennis: Take it! I'll bash the door!
Valiant: Are you 3 okay?!
Stennis: We are, but can't say the same for the others.
Valiant: I'll try and help yo-
Stennis: It's too dangerous!
Warning! Launch in 1 minute
Valiant: Wha-
Stennis: GO!
The door comes off, and I get in while in pain, we enter the door, only for me to be shot at. I was fine since they missed every time, I pull out the same katana and slice them all. I reach the control room, but the launch was imminent. Everyone ran while I slowly lost my vision to the darkness, but was interrupted...
???: Let me help you.
Who is this- oh...it's Izumo...
Stennis: Leave me..

Izumo: You handled everyone correctly before, there's no chance I'm leaving, at least without you.
Stennis: Here, have it back.
Izumo: Keep it, your worthy of it. I'll just carry you out of here.
I then felt arms on me, and I saw Izumo running away for the exit, the control panel had the entire island as it's target. I don't feel too good...
Cleveland POV
We all left, but 2 were unaccounted for, they weren't here...
Biloxi: Did we get everyone?
Enterprise: We did-
Cleveland: We left Stennis and Izumo behind!
Enterprise: We what?
(change themes)
Birmingham: I'm getting a signal all of a sudden!
QE: Where is Stennis?
seconds later, a distress flare is shot.
Izumo: Don't leave us here!
They get on board, and holy hell what happened?!
Warspite: Give him to me!
Enty: No!
Akagi: LEAVE HIM FOR MYSELF TO TAKE CARE!
We got out, but the nuke hit. We didn't get damaged, but...
???: Mayday, mayday!
