Month 7 ⚡️

Ray got down and began packing a hospital bag. It was hard bending down, but Norman was working that day. Ray kept packing until the bag was full. He sighed as he used the bed to get back up. He began panting, since that was tiring. He got up again, and went to the kitchen. He wanted to make something for Norman. He made dinner, and dessert. He set it all up and got it all ready when the door bell rang. He opened it to see his mom. Or at least he thought it was...

"M- Isabella?" It didn't feel right yet to call her mom. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to stop by and-" she looked down at him. "And I see you've been busy?" She smiled playfully, and Ray smiled back. He helped her in, and made more food for her. Then the door unlocked, and Norman came in.

"How are my babies doing-" he said, hanging up his coat when his eyes met Isabella. "I mean my boyfriend and children..?"

"Norman. I see you're late."

"I was- I had- there- my boss extended my shift!" Isabella laughed.

"It's fine, I was just teasing. Come sit, your, 'babies' made dinner." Ray blushed and smiled while looking away. Norman blushed as well and sat. They all ate in silence until Isabella broke it. "So, I'm looking forward to meeting my grandchild. Do you know the gender?"

"Grandchildren actually.." Ray said.

"And we don't, but we've been going over names." Norman finished. Isabella nodded.

"So, how many?"

"2."

"Twins?"

"Yep." Norman replied. Ray was sitting there. He dropped his fork and got up. "Ray Ray?" He ran for their bedroom. He found him on the bed, curled into a ball while clutching his belly. Norman ran to him. "Ray! Are they coming?"

"It's too early...it's too early...it's too early!" Ray kept mumbling. Norman lifted him up and strapped him in their car. He went back to Isabella.

"Sorry Miss Isabella, we need to handle this really quickly! You may stay if you'd like, help yourself to anything." With that Norman ran to the door.

"Thank you, and call me mom." Norman smiled and went to the car with Ray. Ray was doing his breathing exercises and holding his stomach. Norman drove quickly to the hospital.

"Here! We're here! Come on!" Norman helped Ray out of the car. Norman subconsciously knew Ray wouldn't go into labor since he himself was a doctor and it was way too early. Ray was walking with Norman to lean onto. He groaned as they entered. Norman once again checked Ray in. After 15 minutes of nails digging into Norman's hand, soft crying, and anger for getting him pregnant, his name was called. Norman sighed out of relief. Ray was taken to the room, and Norman was sitting there, waiting. Subconsciously, Ray wasn't going into labor. Father and boyfriend instincts, he was. Norman was freaking out, yet he still knew Ray was fine. He was allowed in, only to see the stupid doctors that were on shift actually thought Ray was having the babies. Norman shook his head. Ray was in the whole get up, hospital gown, blankets, and even stirrups. Norman just laughed at the thoughts of the other doctors. He shooed the doctors out, and they knew he was one himself. He gently took Ray's feet out of them and lowered the bed to be more comfortable. Norman softly kissed Ray's head. Ray smiled up at Norman.

"If I'm not going into labor, then why do I feel like this?"

"I think it's just heart burn."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." Norman got up and hugged Ray. "I'd never lie to you. Especially about our babies." He smiled down at Ray, and he smiled back.
