I awoke to my step-mother screaming at me. Slurred profanities. In a frenzy I jumped out of bed and tied my golden locks of hair into a messy bun and put on a cute outfit. "Y/N GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!" she yelled. "COMING!" I replied, hustling down the creaky brown-wood staircase. Why was she so mean to me? I rushed down the stairs to see.. Sans? His sparkly blue, ocean orbs drew me in. I blushed a dark red as I saw him. "I sold you to pay the bills." My ex-step mom said, breath reeking of alcohol. "You'll be safe." sans said, holding my hand in his.
He took me, thanked my mom and handed her an envelope and walked out. I left quietly, not wanting to start a scene.
"I saw your mom..er, ex-mom, putting up posters saying you were for sale. Didn't want you to get bought by some creep, eh?" He chuckled, in a deep-tone. It sounded like video game dialogue text to speech, but I didn't mind.
"Ex-step-mom." I muttered.
"Hm?" Sans said, jerking his head back to me.
"She was my ex-step-mom. Not my mom."
Sans gave me a pitying look before his eyes settled into a soft cream white.
"Oh. Where was your dad, though?" He asked inquisitively.
"He died in a car accident, along with my step sister. My mom died when I was born, while on a flight back home to a business trip, a long with my pet goldfish and my 3 siblings."
"Oh..I'm sorry.." he snorted, trying not to laugh.
"What's so funny?" I said, holding back tears.
"Did..did your dad get T-boned?" Sans said, bursting out laughing.

"Ay, it was just a pun. Anyways, we're approaching my car."
He lead me to a white Tesla, and opened the door for me.
"It's nice, right?" He asked.
"Could be better. My mom used to sleep with Elon musk, y'know." I said.
The car ride was cold and empty. I forgot my phone so it's not like I could listen to music.
