Chaos.

That seemed to be the best way to describe the scene in front of him. Standing in towards the back of a quickly forming crowd, the number one hero of Musutafu, Japan. Yet, he was just another bystander without being able to do anything in his weakened form. A large problem with a simple solution if Toshinori was logical about where his limits stood.

BOOM.

A young middle school student with spiky suffocating from Toshinori's own mistakes- and as a pro, he shouldn't have made these mistakes to begin with. Taking into account how many times he's been in similar situations. The biggest difference though was that he was already out of time- and his ability to transform only lessened with each day.

'I'm worthless...so pathetic. Damnit, I'm a pathetic excuse for a hero. A disgrace! I'm not a real hero!'

Toshinori's head flooded with many thoughts that pushed him away from the present scene unfolding before him. The nearby pro heroes did what they could to minimize the casualties and conflict damage- but their efforts were futile as the by-standing crowd only grew and the student's quirk kept going off. With every explosion that went off, the rougher the sludge villain would get, suffocating him more and more.

Bakugo struggled with every ounce of strength he had, but it was inefficacious. He was holding his breath for as long as he could. With his eyes sealed shut, focusing solely on making that singular gulp of air last until he escaped- countered an attack onto the villain somehow. Each attempt was fruitless, however, and the moment he realized was the moment he panicked. His eyes flashed open as his crimson hues searched for hope. A hope to be alive to see another sunrise. Hope to fulfill his goals in his life. Hope to one day be a hero.

Within the blink of an eye, Toshinori spotted the fluff of green hair that he knew belonged to the kid he came to know as Midoriya Izuku.

Midoriya darted toward his classmate entrapped in a mucky sludge. Everyone around gaped at the sudden action, some pros yelling out for the idiotic kid to stop. Because if none of the pros stood a chance against the rogue villain, who could?

Nonetheless, he pushed forward, getting close enough to suddenly swing his bright yellow backpack around before throwing it in the air and yelling, "Take this!"

Various books flew out, precariously falling everywhere on the villain. The sludge groaned in pain, loosening his grip on Bakugou who in turn released the breath he was holding, taking in gulps of air. He tried to get a grasp of what just happened, only for one word to make him realize. "Kacchan!"

"Deku? What the hell... are you doing here?"

The two spoke in panic and confusion, neither fully understanding what was happening any more than the other. Yet, while the rushed commotion was happening in front of him- no one seemed to notice one bystander at the top of a nearby building. A figure clothed completely in black with intricate aqua-coloured details wrapping around the loose, yet form-fitting attire.

You looked at the dicey situation unraveling below. Amusing the idea if you were to intervene, or wait to see what the number one hiding in the mob would do. He could spare himself the drawbacks of pushing his limits and letting the students possibly die... but he could also live with said consequences against himself- potentially saving the two teens. While questioning what he would do, you also questioned what you should do as well.

You acknowledged the internal war between familiar instincts and your undying hatred for the self-proclaimed celebrities in society that called themselves heroes. People with deceptive bravery, giving those around them a traitorous hope- disgusting.
