Fast forward to that night. The guy got a call on his phone to go back home. He left without another word. That's the story of my life I guess.

That night I went back into my room in silence. When I got in there I put some headphones in and laid down. Dear Agony, by Breaking Benjamin came on. "Yay mood music", I say and start singing. I have nothing left to give. I have found the perfect end. I love singing so much.

I was finishing up the song as my phone vibrates. I look down and see it's Jessica. I pick it up and see her face staring back at me. "Where the fuck have you been all day?" There's the overprotective bestfriend I know and love. "On a walk. I decided to take in some sights. Believe it or not. It's not complete sunshine and surfers like we thought." She snorts, and says "Oh yeah? Are there at least any cute boys there like we planned?" I stop and think. Russle. "Not really." I say it nonchalantly, but she saw right through it. "Lying whore, cough it up. I saw that look in your eyes." I roll my eyes, "You are such a bitch. I don't even know him. His name is Russle. That's all I know." She smiles, "OOOOOH. Get it, Jackson." I laugh a bit, "Hey, you know I love you, but I need to get some sleep. School tomorrow remember?" She whines, "Fine, but you have to tell me everything tomorrow."

She immediately hangs up. "That was weird. No, I love you?" I take out my headphones and strip down to my underwear and fall asleep.

The next morning I wake up at 6:00 to get in the shower. I walk into the shower and turn on the water on the hottest heat there is. I quickly rub down my body in soap. Then quickly rub some shampoo and conditioner in my bright blonde hair.

I have natural dark brown hair, but I dye my hair so often that I just kept it blonde. I like it better that way.

I get out of the shower and dry off my dripping body. I quickly put some underwear and skinny jeans on, then a black v-neck shirt, finally my leather jacket. I look in the mirror, and then head downstairs to associate with my mother and father.

"Hey hoes. Who's taking me to school?" My mom responds first, "Jackson if you don't watch your mouth I will tie you to the car, and drive you to school that way." I hold up my hands in a surrendering motion. "Sorry mom, love you." I head outside to the car parked in the driveway. My dad is out there a few minutes after me. We get in and start heading to my new school, Grantmouth High.

He drops me off and says I love you before he leaves. I walk up the front steps into the huge building. I make a left and go straight into the administration's office. I approach the lady at the front desk. She looks up at me and smiles. "Hi there. Is there anything that I could help you with?" I smile back politely, "Could you give me my schedule for my first day here?" She starts typing away on her keyboard, the gets up to the copy machine and pulls out my schedule. She hands it to me, smiles, and says, "Have a good day, sweetie."

As I'm walking down the hallway I see so many different types of kids. Stoners, Jocks, Cheerleaders, Preps, Nerds, and everything else in between those categories. I go down a couple hallways and end up in my first period class, Geometry Honors. I walk in and head in the direction of the teacher's desk. He looks up and kind of grunts, what sounds like the words new student. He hands me a book and points at a seat near a pretty dark haired girl with a cheerleading outfit on. I sit down and introduce myself. "Hi I'm Jackson." She smiles back, "I'm Erica. Nice to meet you. Are you new here?" I respond with, "Yeah, I kinda wish I wasn't though." She laughs, "Don't worry. You have plenty of guys to look at all around this school." I kind of choked on my own saliva there. "Is it that obvious?" She smiles, "When you walked in I saw rainbows." I laughed. This is going to be the beginning of a very weird day.

A few hours later during lunch I sit at an empty table. I hadn't realized how hungry I was. Thinking about it now I realize that I didn't eat dinner or breakfast. I slowly eat my food, and then I look up and see him. Russle, the boy from the garden. He's sitting in the center of a table. Everyone's eyes locked into his bulging muscles. And all the girls drooling over his perfect jaw line. I couldn't help but stare myself. I spent of the rest of lunch just watching him.

The bell rings and I get up to leave. The next few periods are boring as hell and I start to doze off. Except during choir, which was pretty fun.

I finally make it to last period, which is Biology. I walk in and talk to the teacher. She directs me to seat right next to... Russle. Of course. I sit down and he looks at me. "Hey, Jackson. That is your name right?" I stop for a second, unable to respond. I somehow mutter out, "Hey, yeah." I curse myself out inside my head. "Alright class I will now be passing back the test you took last Friday." The papers head down my row, then Russle's, and so forth. We sit in the back, and when the papers end up to us Russle groans. I look over and see his grade. An F. "Dude you suck. Oops, sorry." He laughs, "It's fine. I just need a tutor." This is my chance I think to myself, "Well I'm pretty good in Biology. I could help out." He looks at me, "Alright cool. Meet me back where we first met today after school. We can talk more then."

The rest of the period goes through, and then it's time to go home. I get in my car and drive home, with only one thing on my mind. The boy in the garden.
