I stood in the hallway for about 5 minutes thinking and wondering what I should do. When I finally got it I ran back into his room. I opened the door and walked back in. "Vegeta!" I stood there crossing my arms. "Y/n...?" He turned around and payed full attention to me. "We need to break up..." I look at him holding back all of my tears "W-what!?" He chuckles nervously. "I am tired Vegeta!... I'm tired of fighting... I'm tired of the excuses we are making..." he tries to walk up to me "Y/n..." I walk back "N-no! Don't touch me... because if you do... I'll just run back to you... and I don't want that anymore... Vegeta this needs to stop, we need to stop hurting each other!" I cry "I'm done with hurting you... we want different things... we have different dreams... and different goals..." I look at him and tears are rolling down his cheeks, his hands are trembling "I don't understand..." he says breathing in. He closes his eyes "why are you doing this!?" He yells. "BECAUSE VEGETA! IM DONE WITH ALL OF THIS BULLSHIT!" I slam my hand on the counter. "I want this to...stop!" I cry softly. He takes a deep breath. "You told me you were ready... ready to settle down... ready to have kids! Ready for marriage! And now! NOW YOU'RE JUST BREAKING UP WITH ME!? JUST LIKE THAT!?" I flinch "YOU'RE JUST MAKING UP EXCUSES BECAUSE YOU'RE SCARED! SCARED OF COMMITMENT! You blame me, for lack of communication! But it's all you! You just don't want to see it... so the only thing you could come up with was to break up with me!" Tears are rolling down my face, it was at that moment that I realized he was right! I was the one at fault! I was the one who told him I wanted a family... and marriage! I gave him false hope, and I got scared and decided to just make up excuses for it. Not only that but I realized I'm holding him back. He was offered higher roles but they are far away! And he stayed because of me! Because he wanted to be with me! I fell to my knees and cried. "Y-your right! I am scared! I-I'm terrified!" He gets on his knees with me and pulls me into a hug "But this doesn't change the fact that we need to break up Vegeta!" I sob into his chest. He sighs "I am putting you through so much pain... I-I'm holding you back from so many things... I-I don't want to be that type of girlfriend!" I pulled away and looked at him "I don't care! I just want to be with you!" He says, he wipes away all my tears "But I do! I care! B-because I love you Vegeta..." his eyes widen "w-what?" I stand up "I love you... but love isn't enough to save a relationship..." I walk out of the door. And lean on his door. I hear someone yell and then I hear things break. I couldn't take it anymore so I ran to my room. Before I got to my door I ran into Broly. "I-I'm sorry..." I say and I get up trying to dodge him "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" He says and he grabs my arm, I turn to look at him, my eyes are all puffy and red "what's wrong?" He says as he pulls me in for a hug. I hug him tightly "I just broke up with Vegeta..." I hug him tighter "I'm sorry..." he pushes me away and cleans away my tears. "Hey... stay here today... I'll cover your mission and I'll take your crew!" I smile "thank you Broly..."

1 week later
Vegeta got back from his mission a week later, it was the longest I have ever gone without him. Today was the first day I was going to see him after the break up. This week has been the worst week of my life, I have cried non stop over and over again. Broly took over my missions for the week, that way I get some time off. I woke up and got dressed. It was a new day, and Vegeta was finally getting back home, except this time I would'nt be able to run up to him. I walked through the hallways, there was so many people around me but it felt like I was alone. I stood at the door of the Elite room for 5 minutes. I opened the door and walked in, everyone turned to look at me. "CAPTAIN!" They all yelled they ran up to me "It's been a while!" I smile "I'm back now!" They all smile. The door opens again and it's Vegeta. I make eye contact with him. He isn't moving, a girl wraps her arms around Vegeta's arm. "Introduce me!" She says. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. He clears his throat "Everyone! I want to introduce you to a childhood friend of mine! This is Araya!" Everyone looks at her in complete awe. "Nice to meet you Araya!" I look at them both confused, she was absolutely gorgeous, she looked like a princess. Vegeta looks at me again. "Welcome back Captain..." I bow. And he bows as well. We both stand up and stare at eachother again. Broly walks up to me "Y/n? Wanna have lunch together?" I break eye contact from Vegeta and look up at Broly and smile "Sure!" He smiles and we walk out of the room.
