Pov: Rafe
I still dont trust shoup, something was definitely off. we're making the boat ready to see JJ and my girl again. Kiara is coming with us. Its been 4 days now since we were at the police station
The boat is almost ready and dad is saying goodbye to rose who's gonna take care of wheezie. I grab my last stuff and drop it on the boat. I sit down and play with my ring. Sarah puts her stuff down and says something to dad. I dont know what she says doesnt care either all i care about is that jj and Ava are safe. I havent seen her in 2 weeks now. I miss her.
Pov: Ava
We are still at lukes place. JJ seems genuinely happy to be with his dad again. Its been 4 days since i called Sarah and told them where we were. Im scared honestly, JJ tells me everyday that its gonna be okay but i dont know. I hope they are coming soon. I miss rafe i miss every little thing about him, Even him snoring.
Im reading a book. Luke told me it was good well i dont know its about some guy that wants to find a lot of money but cant because of some weird bad guys. I only read it to kill some time.
" Ava come on they are coming i promise" i sigh and put down the book "i know jay but i just-" he takes my hands "Ava listen to me, i miss them too okay and they are coming, i know rafe and he will do every single thing he can to see you again even if he has to kill half the world for it" he lets go of my hand and i feel tears burning in my eyes. "Come here" he pulls me in for a hug.
