Sayonara Rainy Town

ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴀɪɴʏ ᴛᴏᴡɴ.

She gently caressed his hair as he was resting his head on her lap. It was drizzling outside. The wind was cold yet refreshing. She kept the windows open but when the rain started to pour hard, she had no choice but to close it. He turned his head to look up at her and she smiled softly. It was one of the most peaceful moments that they could have since they were like cat and mouse.

"Did you sleep well?" She asked and he lightly nodded. He slid his fingers between hers and left a kiss on the back of her hand. She suddenly felt anxious. He noticed this, so he sat up on the bed and held her in his arms.

"I will wait for you as much as I can." His words were heavy. Was it because she would leave soon? It was like the pouring rain: cold and heavy. He released her from his grasp and she eventually left him alone in his place.
