An Excuse Of A Vampire

The woman's body fell straight to the ground with a small thud, the vampire panted, he had been satisfied, at least for now until he got hungry once again. You slowly took small steps backwards, you couldn't scream, no matter how scared you were, you couldn't call for help, because who knows what he would do to you if he saw you, all you could do, was run away from the situation, but that plan wasn't going to work, because as soon as you began to turn around-

Crack!

You accidentally had stepped on a stick, obviously the sound had been heard by him, he turned his head towards your direction and glared. 'Oh no!' You thought. A smirk appeared on his face, maybe one more snack couldn't hurt~ "Aww, did you see that little one?~ Naughty little girl, I'll have to punish you for that~" At that, you took off running, but that only made Yami laugh. "Do you really think you'll get away tonight my dear?~"

Panting for air as you ran, you were barely able to keep up where you were going. Hadn't you passed that tree before? Or was this path the one you ran down just a minute ago? You couldn't think about things like that, all you could do was just run, you regretted coming after him, why had you come back anyways? It was stupid! The dumbest way to possibly get killed, like in scary movies, when the ones who go towards where they hear the creepiest sound go to see what it is, KNOWING something is gonna kill them! Not looking where you where going while you were in thought, you felt your foot slip, causing you to fall. You screamed as you realized you were falling down a long hill. Rolling and tumbling down, you finally made it to the bottom where you lied there not moving. You couldn't move, your ankle had been twisted, and you had hit your head pretty hard, your eyes wouldn't stay open, you saw footprints walk up to you. Yet, as helpless as you were, your eyes soon closed leaving you in a deep darkness after hearing a chuckle.

"I'm sorry, I didn't keep my promise, please forgive me!"

"Mmmm...." You twisted and turned hearing that sentence repeat over and over, it was soothing, but it also sounded so sad...

"Are you crazy?! You brought a human here?!"

"She needed help...besides I-I..."

"You what?? Have you forgotten what humans are capable of?!"

"Stop it! J-Just leave! Now!"

"Fine! But if she ends up stabbing you don't say I didn't warn you!"

You groaned and opened your eyes instantly after hearing a door slam, you eye view looking at the ceiling, blinking a few times, you were able to see clearly.

"Are you awake?" It was a deep voice, but a gentle one, slowly turning to the side, you saw him looking at you worried. As he came closer, you immediately snapped. "NO STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" He took a step back at your outrage, "Wait, please, calm down I won't hurt you I promise"

"Like I'm dumb enough to believe that! I-I'll stab-" Reaching in your pocket, you realized that you knife had been missing. 'My knife is gone! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!' "Where's my knife?!"
