"And not only is the summer camp not here but I'm pretty sure it shut down a while ago." Mr.
poluci huffed at me.I didn't understand why he was so mad. It's me who should be yelling at my dad to come get me right now speaking of.. "do you have a phone?" I asked batting my eyelashes at him.
He sighed and rubbed his temple than placed a phone in front of me. I suddenly realized my father would not be able to pick up because he was at work that means I'd have to call the big bad wolf. My mama. I gulped scared for my dad more than myself after I would tell her what happened.
"Hi mama" I said nervously as I heard her pick up.
"Hi baby why are you calling already? Didn't daddy just drop you off ten minutes ago? I swear Juna you better not be on this phone telling me to come get you already after the money we spent."
"No ma'am.. well that's kind of the reason but not exactly.. I.. well dad dropped me off at the wrong place... it's a.. a um.. a boys only boot camp mama."
"Boys only!?!?!??" My mom practically yelled into the phone and I knew Mr Poluci definitely heard her.
"Ooh when your dad gets off work I swear that man will not see the outside sun again... listen, there's nothing I can do right now. especially after all the money we spent, we're practically broke right now. You're just gonna have to toughen it out Amaya."
My mom would usually call me by my middle name when I was in serious trouble or just when she was being very serious about a situation.
"Let me talk to the man in charge."
Oh boy. I thought to myself. Good luck Mr Poluci. I handed him the phone as my mom practically demanded that I stay there. And well he gave in pretty easily.
"And make sure you keep very close eyes on my daughter around there I swear if any little boy does anything to her I will come up there and raise hell, do you understand?"
"Uh- uh yes oh yes ma'am your daughter will be safe here."
Poor guy barely could get a word out and was sweating.
I watched as he said goodbye to my mother & hung up the phone. He looked at me and sighed, getting up from his chair slowly. "Follow me." He said to me as he made his way out of the cabin.
I suddenly felt myself get very nervous. I deeply sighed and grabbed my bags "It'll be ok Juna.. It will be all ok. You're gonna be just fine. Time will fly by and you'll be out of here before you know it." I followed Mr Poluci to cabin 401. We were standing outside of it as Mr Poluci turned to look at me. "Each cabin has 4 boys inside of it.. except for this one. This one has 3. And as you can see apart from the main cabin, there are 6 cabins. So there are 23 boys in total.. but 24 campers in total if we include you."
Wow thanks for the morning math lesson. I thought to myself sarcastically.
"Anyway there's a schedule posted on the wall in your cabin. since you're not exactly here to be disciplined.. uh... well you still won't be treated like a princess no matter what your scary mother says. The boys should be up soon, it's almost 8:30. Go put your bags up, introduce yourself I guess and I'll see you for breakfast in a few minutes."
I watched as Mr Poluci walked away. And I grabbed my bags for the millionth time today as I made my way up the cabin steps.
I knocked on the door of the cabin and held my breath. No one answered. I rolled my eyes and knocked louder this time. Still nothing. I went to raise my fist to knock on the door for the third time when a Hispanic dude with curly hair answered rubbing his eyes.
"Are you just gonna stand there?" He asked me as I stared at him.
"Um.. Hi.. I'm Juna I well like It's kind of a complicated story but I am a girl and I will be staying in your cabin with you."
"Yeah yeah ok cool tuna." He said as he yawned and walked away from me.
I scrunched my brows slightly irritated with the stupid name he called me and just overall rudeness. I walked in and immediately wanted to pass out because I smelt the B.O. strongly. I covered my nose and looked around at least the room was somewhat decent. I set my bags down on this sofa looking thing. And saw the boy who opened the door for me climb up to the top bunk and pass out again. I than saw a boy with blonde hair on the bottom bunk and a boy with black hair across from me at the bunk I'm assuming I would have to share with him. I than noticed the schedule on the wall that Mr Poluci had told me about. It read

This schedule really worried me... but I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud annoying whistle.
Great way to start the day.
