Yoongi wasn't a stranger to sharing rooms.

When he was growing up, his parents could barely afford a two bedroom apartment. When things got extremely bad, Yoongi and his family downsized to a one bedroom, then a studio once they moved across the country, where they all slept in the same place, before things turned around. It wasn't until his family's business had skyrocketed that Yoongi was finally able to have a room to himself. He knew the ups and downs of living crammed into a room, and he knew that it required giving up some of his liberties so that the roommate (or for Yoongi roommates as they were his siblings), could also be comfortable.

He'd always thought that all he needed was to be wealthy to have access to his room. He loved having his personal space and years living where he had none, he arguably cared for his room more than he cared for a lot of other things. With money, he could add anything to personalize his room, and at home, he even had his own bathroom. No more having to wait for his siblings and parents to finish showering. He could take his time in the shower, take his time as he washed his face, and do everything he couldn't do before he was in his struggle days.

This time, however, not even wealth could save him.

True to their words, Hoseok and Yoongi shared a room. Thankfully, they had separate beds— both queens so it wasn't like Yoongi was going to be in a twin bed. It would have been fine though. He'd lived life sometimes sleeping on the floor, or couch, and hadn't gotten a proper bed until his parents had gotten wealthy. Apparently not for Hoseok, who seemed to be annoyed that he couldn't have a king bed all to himself. Yoongi frowned, trying his best not to let the distaste wash across his face. Leave it to Hoseok to complain about the size of the bed. Already he could tell that they weren't going to get along.

He didn't even know Hoseok's room habits. What if he was incredibly messy? What if he didn't respect the space that they had? What if Yoongi woke up randomly at three am to hear Hoseok jerking off? Yoongi shuddered just thinking about it.

At the very least, Hoseok had managed to convince Jimin's parents to let him live with them, so if anything, Yoongi could always go vent to Jimin— or live in his room. He could sleep on the floor there. He didn't mind. To make matters worse, Hoseok and Yoongi had to share a bathroom. Hoseok, as Yoongi would come to find out, took his sweet, sweet time in the shower, and if Yoongi didn't wake up on time, Hoseok would take the shower and stay there for at least an hour, and that was on his faster days. What Hoseok did in the bathroom Yoongi had no idea. All he knew was that Hoseok was disrupting his schedule.

"If you're going to spend centuries in the shower, at least do it in the evenings."

Hoseok rolled his eyes in response. "There are other bathrooms in this place. Go to another one if you're that pressed. I need my time in the shower. It's the only way I can relax enough to deal with your bullshit all day. Besides, can't you take a shower in the evenings? I've been spending my time in detention as of late. Courtesy of you."

Yoongi and Hoseok had developed a feud, that was clear to the student body. Despite the student body knowing that they were dating— they were rarely seen together, except for the occasional time when Yoongi issued Hoseok detention, which was all the time. It made Hoseok a laughingstock, along with fear once Hoseok issued all of them dirty looks and glares. Hoseok couldn't even get his boyfriend to lay off the detentions for him, and Yoongi found that to be one of his greatest accomplishments.

Of course, Hoseok always tried getting back at Yoongi, which usually meant to embarrass him. Unfortunately, Hoseok had business expertise, so wherever Yoongi lacked, Hoseok excelled, and he was quick to use it to humiliate Yoongi. It was a never ending cycle— Yoongi humiliating Hoseok through school, and Hoseok humiliating Yoongi in real life. If they didn't know any better, this could be considered their way of flirting with each other, but fortunately, they made it abundantly clear that they hated each other.
